Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse reviews
20Good place to hangout and have fun. The movie watching may not be an immersive experience compared to other movie chains. But the bar and service at the front were good. Surprisingly, they threw a free watch party of FIFA WWC 2023 final. I enjoyed it there. Good atmosphere. The bartender was so cool and kind. I would like to visit again.
It's a movie theater with a bar. The back seats have a table in front and they have a menu for the pizza place nearby.
This place is way more sensory friendly than newer, bigger theaters. The volume isn't insane.
Classic, and around for years since my mother's generation. It's evolved along with the city, and I hope it last forever - It's Barbenheimer time.
I love how small it is but I am sad about the lack of parking and I did get a ticket because I just parked around the people that were parked and we all got a ticket lol but I guess it’s my fault for not being from here and researching the spot before coming but all that aside I wouldn’t want to watch Barbie anywhere else
Great experience! The staff was awesome and efficient and the atmosphere was amazing for the barbie movie!
Aside from one of the full-time bartenders being kind of a jerk (e.g, loudly proclaiming that he hates vegans), this place is an absolute gem. Fantastic pizza, usually movies I really want to see (even special midnight showings of cult classics), and a beer selection that'll kill ya.
We came here on opening weekend of the Barbie movie and they really went all out for it- full on decorations, a custom Barbie drink menu, a Barbie box Photo Booth- it really added to the experience and fun of the show.
Aside from the special event, this place has a great set up- movies, a bar, and pizza with plenty of places to sit and eat and lounge with friends. The seats inside the theatre and super comfy, some chairs in the back even have tables to put food if you order pizza for the show, the prices for drinks and popcorn I thought were reasonable for a movie theatre, and it was air conditioned but not so much that I was freezing throughout the show.
After the show we got pizza and headed upstairs on the outdoor balcony which was a lot of fun. We got the Greek salad and the Swarm pizza which was a spicy pepperoni with a honey drizzle. The pizza was well balanced with spice and cooked well. They also had plenty of substitutions available so a vegan or vegetarian would be happy here as they have plant based meats and cheeses if you want those instead. Our food was made quickly- we waited maybe 15 minutes for it to arrive.
The last thing I’ll mention is the people working there seem to be having fun (many dressed up for the Barbie show) and they seemed to collaborate and enjoy working together. Overall a real fun place to watch a show. Will return!
Great vibes, had "Barbie" custom drinks at the time, and a whole lotta decorations to enhance the atmosphere
Love this neighborhood cinema. Great place to meet friends for drinks, pizza and/or movie!
I absolutely love this theater! Food alcohol and big soft recliners. Ive been sooooo wasted there and had so much fun!
I've been going to this theatre before the pub was installed. Its incredibly comfortable and friendly. My favorite place for movies and beer. People are tops.
The downstairs theatre, the original needs a speaker upgrade imo. Sound comes out a little fuzzy.
A kool little locally own theater great pizzas, subs and beer. The best soft pretzels in Columbus.
Great staff, great pizza, blown speaker in the upstairs theater which ruined the movie, though. Recommend for everything but movies.
Service was A+. Staff were incredibly friendly and they had a very interesting selection of drinks and foods. Mixed drinks were very good and well-priced. Highly recommend supporting this local business!
I can't say enough good things to express how much we love this studio. The staff, the decor, the refreshments, and the theater are all unique and a wonderful experience. Remember loving the movies as a kid? Well this will make you love it all over again.
Great movie experience but the pan pizza was not good. One side cheese and the other bacon. There was an avocado sauce that I did not ask for that was disgusting. Nice try but garlic and Parmigiano would have been better.
Best movie house vibes in Columbus. Amazing pizzas, huge drink menu, great prices and loads of incredible movies to choose from!
What an incredible kind human to order pizza and Frostop from! The pizza and Greek salad are delish. Thank you for offering many Vegan and NA options!
Great people, one time there was a pleasant DJ (a rare treat), excellent taps, delightful pizza toppings that include options for dietary restrictions. Also, where else are you going to get a pizza called The Capered Crusader while watching The Batman? Licenced to Dill is a great staple pizza, and it veganizes well….
