14I absolutely do NOT recommend this place. My son found the perfect vehicle here. It was his first time buying a vehicle and was given the total run around! They would not take cash? Really? He had to walk away and they even kept his $500 deposit. What a horrible way to treat a young person and a serviceman!
Very disappointed with the dealer drove 3 hours and was promised it would be worth my time and would get a great trade in better then any other place and the trade I'm valued was no better then any other place which pissed me off for driven 3 hours and they did not want to offer anymore did not even try to do anything which made it worst basically what his paper said is what he was given me they just did not want to help and was getting no more trade in value then any local place to me it would of been better if they said hole on let me see if we could do something so we can make this deal but not a damn thing handed my keys to truck and walked out messed up
By far the worst dealership I’ve experienced. Took a truck on a test drive, it had absolutely no brakes and they claim they can’t find anything wrong with them and refuse to fix it. Customer service was terrible. Salesman had a terrible attitude and they act like they could care less what their customers say. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Jeremiah was great to deal with. He was willing to make sure my concerns were sent up the proper channels without hesitation
Dealership sold me a truck and just 16 months later I chose them to work on it.they completely misdiagnosed the issues I was having and did so again on a second trip back to investigate further which was going to cost me over $3000.00 on top of the $4000.00 I had already paid.
Everything was great service department explained everything to me and got me in right away they did an amazing job especially Jeremiah, he went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was taken care of.
Today had an issue with the tire pressure giving me a low tire warning. They had it reset in 15 min. Great service! Also, got a great cup of coffee " Starbucks". Sorry Joe stole another bottle of water
from you, but I will drink it later, just don't trust Defiance water LOL. This is a very awesome dealership recommend to anyone. Rate them a 10 all day long! "Were you the customer comes first".

Had new tires installed on my vehicle this week. I can't stress enough how much up and beyond Edger Rueda and the rest of the service team went to make it super easy, picked my car up from home, found me a super good deal on 4 tires and an alignment, washed my car and swept it out, helped me redeem my rewards gm points towards my bill. Brought my car back to me. Thank you all. They have my business for sure.
My wife and I came to Stykemain Buick GMC in Defiance, Ohio only to "just look" but after the product specialist Jamie Smiddy took us for a test drive and presentation we were then interested in talking about pricing. We ended up getting a great deal on a Red 2016 Buick Envison. It was the right color and had the dark leather interior which we wanted as well. We are very satisfied with the price and entire experience. Go see Jamie!
Everyone we dealt with at Stykemain was very professional and courteous. They explained what work needed to be done and why. There was no "hard sell" if I declined to have particular work done.
Very disappointed with my service and more upset about the charges. My car was not fixed… actually worse when I left than before I brought it in yet I paid $727 for a sensor and diagnostics. I was told and expected $453 and thought it would be fixed. Probably never see me back there again
We drove 1.5 hours to see a truck we were assured was on the lot only to get there and have them say it was under contract and in fact wasn’t even on the lot. They knew we were driving in from Michigan, a heads up would have been appreciated. We wasted 3 hours of our day. Would highly recommend training your sales people on communication and good business practices. The truck still shows up online on their website as well.
Visited on August 16th 2023 to look at a used GMC Sierra 1500. Vehicle was dirty and had 3000 more miles than advertised. Regardless of that I was going to buy it at their advertised price. I asked if they would make me a deal on a tonneau cover and they agreed to knock $100 off the price of one. I agreed and let them charge my debit card for said cover in the amount of $1236.00 instead of paying a deposit. Less than 24 hours later I was contacted by another dealer with a better price on a new Sierra with similar options. I promptly called and told them I was not interested in the truck but still wanted the cover. On Tuesday August 22nd 2023 I called the parts department and spoke with Matt. He said the cover would be in Wednesday or Thursday. After no communication, I called back Friday August 25th to check on the status and once again spoke to Matt. He informed me that the cover was now on backorder with no ETA. I then asked for a refund of the $1236.00 and he said I would have to be transferred to sales to work that out. After being placed on hold numerous times I was connected with Ethan Stykemain. He proceeded to tell me that the money was not for a cover but it was a non refundable deposit. Furthermore he acted as though we never discussed a cover with Emilio. (The salesman). We went around for a while and he told me to contact Joe Stykemain. If Joe is anything like Ethan, he's a lying crook. And that goes for Emilio in sales and Matt in parts too apparently. Why should I be punished for finding a better deal? Don't do buisness with these people. They're liars and crooks and do not deserve your buisness.
