Subway, Van Wert OH

The service was terrible. You pull up yo the menu and u are the only person there, the dining room is closed so no one is in the inside, the girl taking orders says look at the menu and I’ll be back to take your order soon. I say I am ready to order now. The girl says “I need a minute” and lets me sit there.

If you do not want to work then let someone who does. This is the second time and the last she has done this to this customer. Last time I waited 10 minutes for her to take my order. Evening shift 730 pm. I am positive corporate would not want their customers treated this way.

This is one of the few places in Northwest Ohio that I know of that does not honor company deals. For that reason alone I can drive 10 miles to a store that does. In fact it’s the only franchise x 2 in Van Wert Ohio. Every Fast Food franchise in town does. Avoid these local franchises. There are 4 stores not too far away that honor corporate deals.

We ate inside so we witnessed our subs being put into the machine that they use to toast them. When we got done eating and left, my spouse and I were both talking about our subs not being warm on one end of the sub but were warm on the other end of our foot long subs. I believe the Van Wert North building needs to look into fixing the "toasting" machine or replace it.

Toward the end of our dine in experience, some of the employee language use was not pleasant to hear. We were not the only family that had children with us. I happened to notice one time that a car had just pulled into the drive-thru area and one of the employees said, "Go the **** away. "

Didn't like how my sandwiches was prepared at all.sauce was all over the bread and the wrapper spent 24.00 bucks for 2 sandwiches that I was afraid to eat never again

Didn't have the bread, drink, or cookies I ordered in stock.then they shorted me cookies.and when I got home to eat, AFTER I ASKED THE GIRL WORKING IF THEY HEATED UP MY MEAT ON MY NON TOASTED STEAK AND CHEESE, AND SHE TOLD ME YES. TOOK A BITE OF ICE COLD, FROZEN, MEAT! And ordered extra meat and did not get that either! Never again! Maybe the kids working should put their phones down and pay attention to what they are doing! Oh and they do not accept coupons.

I went into the store one day to see a female manager breast pumping in the office right by the kitchen/food with her newborn kid in the establishment, absolutely disgusting, will never eat here again.

As I've seen in another review when I walked in there was a person behind the counter in what I assume to be a manager's outfit was breast pumping milk near the kitchen.should have called the health department but I was in such a hurry to leave due to what I witnessed that day.

Asked for only my meat and cheese toasted, meat was cold and bread was toasted.the guy working the window had a horrible attitude and kept asking if we were done with our order.

I guess young people just haven't had the experience of being friendly with a smile. The crew working that day acted like we where a burden. I guess they had more important things to do.
