Summit County Public Health reviews
8Refused to give me my second COVID vaccine. First, it was changed to the whole lottery system. Then, when they had walk-ins available I was consistently told there was none left and I'd have to wait until the next week. I have been waiting months to get my second dose, because many pharmacies and stores said I had to get my second dose the same place where I got my first.
Here for my second vaccine. I have been in this car for 57 minutes and have moved up less than 5cars in length.five. This is awful. If this wasn’t my very last resort I HIGHLY suggest getting elsewhere. Axesspointe/cvs/Walgreens anywhere but here if possible.
Absolutely embarrassing that even as of today there is no mass vaccination clinic open in Summit County, it’s sad that I have to go up to Cleveland just to get a vaccination.
Group after group moved to the head of the vaccine line. Teachers union demanding to be first, but some don’t want the vaccine, and those who have gotten it now demand the buildings get sanitized every night.
Even if we are “eligible” to be vaccinated, the county refuses to upgrade the appointment registration system so it can remain open longer than five minutes.
The director keeps repeating the same old “short supply, huge demand, lots of people ahead of you” as if we don’t know. We’ve heard it again and again.
1. Who goes to Columbus to lobby for more vaccine doses?
2. When will there be a plan to vaccinate people younger than 65 and without any of the long list of additional conditions?
3. My wife is 67 years old and just got over breast cancer. I’m 64 with uncontrolled Type II diabetes. When will we get to the head of the line and stop being non-essential?
Great Job SCPH! I operate a Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facility. CVS and CDC communication fell apart and were not able to COVID 19 vaccinate my facility. I called Ericka Sobelewski DO Medical Director on her cell and she was at my facility 4 days later inoculating staff and residents.
Response was great most appreciated. We see the beginning of the end to this devastating disease.
This is in regards to the dental clinic. I left feeling very happy with the service I received. Both the dentist and the assistant were friendly, and made me feel like they were genuinely interested in helping solve my issue. The dentist encouraged me to save my tooth, rather than have it extracted. They don't do root canals on site, but she told me where I can have it done. After checking, based on her advice, I may be able to get a root canal done for free. She put a temporary bonding agent on the tooth to stop the sensitivity. I was charged, based on my income, only $25.00, for an exam, x-ray, and the bonding agent.
2/14/2019 United healthcare advisory meeting was held here. The woman that spoke about our Heath plan Kelly A Johnson ginger defillipo and Monica peace, from the main office in Columbus Ohio. They we're very efficient and went beyond the call of duty they gave everyone a chance to speak and vioce there opinion, and gave answers to questions that pertained to our United healthcare plans. I look forward to the next meeting so that I can learn more about this wonderful health insurance plan. With all of the programs that they have, it's also the place that GOD made for United healthcare to teach members about there plans.
