When I was younger I lived very near there. My little girl and I used to walk the towpath trail often. We inevitably ended up going to the park and community center. At the center, together we learned to dance. They also had several community outreach programs. Good memories.

One of the best places to sit and relax overlooking the lake feeding the birds is always fun to do with the kids

Very beautiful. I picked up a lot of broken glass so be careful. Picnic area, bonfire and gathering areas are very nice. Nice place for a lunch break

Area is undergoing a renaissance with plans for a multi-purpose path around Summit Lake with amenities.
