Sunny Street Café, Columbus OH

Decent place for food. This is a chain, but not a huge one. They have a cool menu and a fun triceratops pancake for kids instead of the normal Mickey/Minnie ones. I tried chicken and waffles for the first time so I can't really say how good it is compared to others, but I really enjoyed it. It was kind of like a fried cutlet vs a chicken breast that I've seen on others. My wife had the pumpkin pancake breakfast and it was pretty good. The coffee is your typical garbage coffee. The iced chai cold brew tea was really good. Our service was really good, I believe his name was Brandon. Overall pretty good, but we are still on the hunt for a stellar breakfast joint!

Food is right on point, delicious.
Although I’m missing key item’s like Utensils, a napkin, at least straw would’ve been nice in the carry out bag.

Simple breakfast done well. Service was good, our server was friendly and seemed to care about her job and guests.

I would usually describe Sunny Street Cafe's food as average. But my most recent visit exceeded my expectations. Although the waitress did not seem very knowledgeable about the menu, the pumpkin pancakes (seasonal item) and chicken fried steak meal we ordered was just delicious. We even ordered our side of eggs poached - and they really poached them! I would describe the atmosphere as a casual family atmosphere, not a cozy one-on-one atmosphere.

Good food. Nice experience for a first time. Arena area is nice and it's a good spot. Wasn't super busy and service was amazing

They seemed really confused on how to handle a large party even though we had reservations for a large party

Great service, very quaint deco, good hot coffee and excellent food! So good we went back the next day! Highly recommend it!

Gas station breakfast would've been better. We sat at the bar by the kitchen. The hashbrowns were soggy but hard because they were sitting for so long. All the toast for the morning sits under the heat lamps and the servers just grab the toast with their hands. No care to try not touching people's food. I'm not sure if the heat lamps were even on since my bread had un melted butter on it. The employee at the kitchen window was I'm pretty sure a manager and she couldn't be ruder. I listened to her complaining about people in the restaurant complaining about their terrible food. I watched her roll her eyes at every other employee that had a question or needed something. There was a server that kept touching her butt very obviously which is just weird especially since they use their hands for touching food. I was hungover so I ate the food, paid and left. Just don't make the same mistake. Go literally anywhere else.

Food was fine the toast was the best part. I would not recommend the corned beef hash it was kinda like a potato pancake that had bits of pink in it and was pretty salty

This restaurant is truly one of the worst ran businesses that I have ever had the displeasure of going to. How they manage to figure out how to turn the lights on every morning is beyond me. Don’t bother going if they can’t immediately seat you. They have a reservation system for standby but not a single employee knows how to operate it. On two separate occasions I’ve had them enter my name and they mess it up causing it to not take in the system. You only find out they messed up after an hour of waiting for your name to be called and when finally asking how much longer you have they will try to gaslight you into believing you never signed in. You may think that my experience was just a simple “miscommunication” but it happened to three different groups in the span of 15 minutes. Honestly a pen and paper would work better for them because at least you could see your name being written down. Overall this place could use a lot of staff training at least on the front of house side of things. Love Sunny Street overall as a chain but this place is more of a Tornado Alley.

Probably the best of all the sunny street locations. Great service food cooked perfectly. Good and clean aura about the place.

Quick service. Lots of menu options. Creative and healthy menu options. Food was great. They have kids pancakes shaped like dinosaurs in a variety of flavors. I would definitely go back again.

We ate here everyday of Origins game fair. The food was excellent and they play 80s music. My son gets the Big Breakfast sandwich specialty. He loves the chipotle mayo. I get the Hearty Breakfast and it is so much food I hate wasting a bite. My daughter got the Chicken and Waffles, and it was too much food for her to finish, delicious but big. You cannot go wrong with any of theses choices.

Very nice. Great service, very clean. Food was good too. I had the avocado toast and my boyfriend had eggs. We both loved it.

Ate here before work (piece of avocado toast and coffee) on a last minute whim. Came in at 8: 05am, food got here before 8: 20am! Super pleased. Tasted good and made it to work on time lol

I found a live bug on the lid of my iced coffee, and bug parts in my omelet.ordered through Doordash, however the bug parts were on the inside of the cooked meal.
