Sunny's Chinese Restaurant, Salem OH

To begin, upon walking in we are told to sit where ever. Nobody comes around to get our drink order, after watching other customers we realized we had to get our own. The cup sizes were small, maybe a 12oz. The food was horrible from the soup, egg rolls to the lo mein noodles. I do not even know what was wrong with the soup but there was no way I was eating it. The egg roll had no cabbage just "chicken" mush which resembled wet dog food and tasted just as bad as what i imagine wet dog food to be. The fried shrimp tasted like how cat urine smells. Hell didn't even have big enough cups to wash the food down. After all that not one person came to the table, speaking of which the end of the table was sticky.didn't realize it until my napkin stuck to it. The best thing i had there was the glass of water. We were so disgusted with the food and service we decided to leave.and didn't even get a fortune cookie. It was not worth the money, we will not be returning as well as letting those we know about our horrible experience there.

Cold food or warm (last time i came) the food options are pretty limited it seems the food looks and smells good but I’d choose this if I can’t pay very much at the moment.

My son and me like to go to Sunny’s for dinner each week on payday. We get whatever we like off of the buffet and take things to go as well. We like the food here.

Hadn't been there for quite awhile and it was a nice treat. Pricing was great and the food selection was great!

Do not Go To Sunny’s Buffet in Salem, OH. They’re incredibly rude to their customers. Long story short I went in after taking my dog to the vet to get some takeout. Went to get some lo mein and noticed it looked disgusting as if it’s been sitting there for hours. I asked the lady politely for some fresh lo mein and she looked at me as if I was retarded and said no. So I walked out. If you go there and consider that a decent place think again. That’s not how customers should be treated!

This is the only Chinese restaurant my son will eat at. We've never dined in at the buffet, although I would. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. The staff is efficient and friendly. It's not much to look at but for take-out you can't beat it.

It's all you can eat and drink buffet. Heard it wasn't great but when we went it was pretty good! You fill your own drinks not very many options for drinks; coke, sprite, diet coke, coffee, and teas.

Absolutely disgusting all around. Food was old, cold, hard. Not to mention the uncleanliness of the entire restaurant. And black mold around the windows! This place is a huge health hazard.

Hardly any food in buffet. Food that was in buffet was dry like it had been sitting a bit.

Food is pretty good as long as it's fresh, the service is friendly, and sweet tea is amazing.

$13.75 buffet. Buffet not taken care of. It was on a Sunday. Food too sweet. They should focus on less items and more quality food. Noone was really around to say anything.

Just happen to drive by and decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised. Good selection of food on the buffet and it was delicious and served fresh and hot. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be eating there again.

First time eating their food this week. I was nervous because of the mixed reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised! I got to-go orders twice this week and both times everything was fresh and ready when I got there. Very good service!

Food was very cold, you had to get your own drinks and they acknowledged you were there until you went up to pay
