Swensons Drive-In, Avon OH

Best. Carhop. EVER. You may be too late to see her today, it's 5: 19 on November 19th, but she's worth a visit and a huge tip. The food was hot and delicious, the wait reasonable, and that server's beautiful smile and deep dimples as she raced around at top speed doing her job without a complaint or skipping a beat made a miserable day 100% better.

Went to one of first Swensons when I was younger in Cuyahoga Falls / Akron area. And now also, North Canton and now Avon. In 30 plus yrs and countless visits I really can't remember any bad experiences at any of there drive-ins with my food or service. Great burgers, tater teasers and very good fried mushrooms and milkshakes. First time in Avon and it was no exception prompt service and the correct order. Burgers and the sides was spot on I would like to add that Swensons is not like McD's or BK you don't get your burgers in 3 minutes and out of heated tray, it's made fresh to order and takes a bit more time, but worth the wait. It's a drive-in not a drive thru. 11/8/21

I had a great experience while grabbing my lunch yesterday! Evan and Maria were amazing help and I feel like they deserve A raise for their hard work!

Me and my wife Love this place, but this time In Avon Ohio. We order a Lettuce Wrap Well done with CHEESE, The cheese and Burger is ICE cold. I just wanted a Credit but refused to give me a credit or replacement. They said we can send you a gift card which would come probably in a week or 2. Why would I want a gift card? I literally just wasted gas and time for an Ice Burger Lettuce Wrap and I want it replaced, How is that so hard to comprehend? Worst customer service. JEFF FLOWERS NEEDS TO FIX THIS ASAP.

We absolutely love Swenson, but Jake G made our experience that more special. Was nice to have small talk rather than just an order taker! Thanks for the great experience!

Service was good, food came out quick but was so disappointing! We look forward to eating here whenever we're driving through Cleveland, and its usually so good! Today was not so good. The buns were hard, they mixed toppings between my burger and my husbands. Shakes were amazing tho!

Connor was the man! He was super nice and brought great customer service and is a great representation of the Swenson culture!

Burger was sour, and flat. Iced tea was so bad, even when I added Suger. This place is nasty, I hope y'all can do better next time

Wow, Swensons did not disappoint tonight! I got the Galley Boy and fired mushrooms and a rootbeer float. Even better than Akron. The two servers I had tonight were so fast and hard working Maria and Mary were their names. Ive never seen my servers hustle so hard!

Passed through Ohio & was told I needed to try it. The burgers, sides, and milkshakes were delicious. Just a heads up because I didn't know this: the Galley Boy burger's sauce is actually kinda sweet. Tasted a little like Sloppy Joe's/BBQ.

Ordered messed up multiple times. You can leave the lights on to get someone to come. They didn't. Had to call multiple times. Had to wait over 15 minutes because my lemonade was just water with lemon.

My children and I are big time Swensons lovers. (Especially the milkshakes)! We always ask for Jake if he’s working, he’s always so happy to help us if we have any questions. Love this location!

Excellent service from Evan and Maria whenever we stop in! My wife and I noticed the cheese isn’t as good as it used to be a few months back. We wouldn’t recommend getting anything with cheese until they change back to the cheese that actually melts. Hopefully their corporate office is aware of how poor their new product is and changes it back to good stuff, till then we unfortunately are going to make the journey to the North Olmsted location so we can enjoy the delicious cheese there.

I visited Swensons today for the first time today after doing a search for chili dogs in the area. They did not disappoint, one of the best dogs I've ever had, they even toasted them bun!

Sevice was very slow. Burger was the best. Five customers at the time and took over 15 min to get three burgers and two drinks.

Always happy with the food and service at this specific location! Mary is very fast not only to come take my order but get it out to me when it’s ready, definitely happy and will continue coming back:)
