Needed to change batteries for 4 key thobs and they where very helped with everything and super friendly.

All 3 staff members in the building were friendly and very helpful. Great selection of tools and products - not to mention a full line of Yeti products.

Tried to buy a Weber grill online and the purchase would not process for some reason so I needed to go to the store and pay in person. Since it was an online only close out deal the regular price would only ring up. Laura was very helpful and made a number of adjustments (and a call or two) to make it right and align with the online pricing. The other staff I encountered there were also very friendly and helpful.

Very helpful staff, and I've at most waited 2 mins at the register.
Prices are maybe a smidge higher than if you go to one of the giant box stores, but competent staff & the ace rewards program more than makes up for that.

They had exactly what I needed. 4 odd bolts. Plus fast friendly help. Big box stores can't beat a real hardware store

Came to this Ace store from Woodville to get the EGO snowblower. The lady that helped me out gave me one of the best shopping experiences I've had in awhile, very friendly and informative. I high recommend shopping at this store, customer service is top notch.

Everytime we go in there, the guys working are quick to ask what we need and walk us to the items we are looking for! Great customer service! Might be a little bit pricier than your big box stores, BUT the friendly customer service we get every time will keep us coming back!

We will not shop at Sylvania Hometown Hardward / ACE Hardware again. The price was competitive to big box stores, but the customer service and return policy is terrible. We tried to purchase a Blackstone grill online and pick it up at this location, but they said they never recieved the online order. We had a confirmation email and number, but there is apparently poor communication between Ace Hardware national and this Sylvania Hometown Hardward store. Sylvania Hometown Hardward did nothing to help rectify the situation. They said there was nothing they could do and that we just had to come in the store to purchase it. So we went in and purchased a Blackstone 36" ($560). We had to pick it up, but it was pre-built. When we got it home and opened the lid, it looked like it was already used (it was sticky) and the igniter wasn't working. We called Sylvania Hometown Hardward to see if someone at this store could help us. Unfortunately, the response from the manager was basically, "all sales are final; if you are having an issue with the grill you need to call Blackstone. " So it seems like they don't care what they sell you or what your experience is as long as they get your money. It's frustrating because we tried to support a local store, but they just don't have good customer service nor a reasonable return policy. Back to Lowes and Home Depot we go from now on. Sylvania Hometown Hardward, I really hope you change your ways and start serving your community better!

Just purchased a miter saw. Save about $150. They are super friendly and helpful. Good to have them in Sylvania. Thank you.

Customers are greeted as you walk in. Service is outstanding, staff is very knowledgeable.

I received a $10 coupon in the mail to celebrate my birthday so I stopped in to browse see if there's anything I'd like to purchase and was asked if I needed help I said no then the man kind of followed me around and asked me again and again if I needed help made me feel very uncomfortable like he thought I was some kind of criminal. Coupon or not I probably won't be shopping there anymore.

It is so nice to walk into a hardware and be able to find what you need or have someone to help you find it, and items you won't find at the big boxes.
