Tackett Tree Service, Dayton OH

We hired Tackett Tree Service, they came out this morning and was done by lunch time. They did a wonderful job would hire them again and highly recommended them.

Hired Josh to come remove 2 trees in a tight spot between my garage and fence they showed up at 9 am and were done by noon great service don't confuse them with Tackett tree experts

We noticed a large branch had fallen from one of our trees and was caught in other branches 30 feet over the sidewalk. Bob came out same day, gave an honest and good quote. His team arrived promptly at 9am and worked quickly. They cleaned the area extremely well.

We recommend Tackett Tree Service in all regards! Within 24 hours of calling them our tree is removed and quickly and neatly
hauled away on this cold winter day. Very responsive company that performs as promised and quickly! Thank you!

Do not use this business for firewood. Website advertised $150/cord. Charged $265. And almost all of it is waterlogged, soft, or moldy. Huge disappointment. They delivered after dark so I couldn't see the quality until the next day when they were long gone. Talk about a red flag. Please do not consider this business for any firewood needs. You're being taken advantage of, just like my elderly mother was when she sent our family a cord of firewood for Christmas. Shame on them.

Purchased firewood from this business, their website claimed fully seasoned hardwood for reasonable price. However the firewood was definitely NOT seasoned and still wet. It’s easy to tell when you try and burn the wood and it’s sizzling with moisture. Be cautious of this company.

I had 3 large trees topped, & 2 trees removed, with stumps removed also. The crew was very professional, on time & did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterward. I would definitely recommend this business. Thanks Josh & crew!

Josh Tackett provided a fair reasonable quote for removing several trees. They started the job early and finished ahead of schedule.
When the crew arrived, they were all very professional, respectful, and I felt very comfortable around them. They definitely knew what they were doing, how to do it safely, and had all the right equipment. I was worried as the trees were huge and odd-shaped but they took care of them and thoroughly cleaned up all debris. They left my yard cleaner than they found it!
As a woman living alone, I felt safe and was given a reasonable price. Tackett’s Tree Service is top notch and I recommend them to everyone!

I had a dead tree that was falling down. I called them in the morning and by early afternoon they arrived and removed the tree and clean-up was outstanding. I am very pleased with the speed and quality of service. If you ever have an emergency situation or need a tree removed, Tacket Tree Service is the company to call.

When the owner came out to estimate the job, he was very nice. When I had questions and wanted to double check some things when the job was being done, he became irratated and short, not wanting to deal with me. He did say he would replace a handmade planter that broke when a branch fell on it, that a dear friend had given me 50 years ago, which had sentimental value, and he never did. He refused to answer my calls and kept hanging up when he realized it was me. He had been fully paid. His childishness and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. Also, the workers asked to put branches in my fire pit which I had just cleaned out for the season. I let them, trying to be nice, but they should not have asked to do that in order to make their job easier. The lawn was torn up from the equipment, and I spent many hours watering and resodding areas of the lawn, cleaning up and burning the branches they put in the fire pit. I had said they could leave the smaller sticks for me to clean up, but I felt somewhat taken advantage of. Also, part of my neighbor's lawn was affected.
Even though the work the did on the trees was fine, the whole experience was ruined and left a bad taste in my mouth by the unprofessional and childish behavior exhibited by the owner.

Tackett's removed a very large honey locust tree from our back yard which was not an easy procedure. They were working near cable wires, electric wires, an above ground pool and fenced yards. They sent a team of 5 and worked for 12 hours. They did a great job and I would highly recommend.

Tacketts Tree Services have completed several tree trimming and tree removal jobs for me and recently they chipped a large pile of branches. They’ve always been good value. They arrive in the time frame agreed. Complete work agreed and clean up well. I highly recommend this courteous and professional tree service.

These jokers are incapable of even responding to customers, lies about putting customers on waitlist for service.

Tackett Tree Service gave me the best price to cut down a 40' tree and offered more services (stump grind/root removal) ; they were by far the best value. Wayne and his crew were very professional, answered all questions, completed tree service and cleaned up-very satisfied. Will always recommend!
