Tandoor Cuisine of India reviews
14Great place to get Indian food. Their service was quick and the curry excellent. Absolutely get garlic naan with your order.
Amazing! The most important part is the service offered by the restaurant. They have excellent staff and the owner is just a joy to talk to. Along with that the best indian cuisine in Toledo. Great food with great taste. Highly recommend.
We called ahead and made reservations, but I don’t think this is the norm. The food was excellent! I ordered chicken masala (Sp?) medium heat and garlic naan. It was perfect. We will be back, bk now I’m craving those wonderful spices!
Easily the best Indian food in Toledo! Have had Tandoor a handful of times and it’s always consistent. Not only that, but the portion size and price are better than any of the other Indian restaurants in the area. Looking forward to the day dine in is an option again, but if you’re looking for takeout this is the go-to spot! Highly recommend the classic tikka masala and garlic naan, can’t go wrong!
I delivered groceries to them and they fed me. I was so beyond touched. I actually hadn’t eaten that day and have been struggling with money so it truly meant the world. On top of that, the food was completely amazing, and they gave me enough to last for several meals. These are genuinely good people with amazing food. 10/10 highly recommend!
Have been going here for years & never had a bad meal. Prices are decent. One of the best Indian food places in Toledo, if not the best!
The vegetable samosa are always good! Tried a couple dishes and they were very flavorful! Check this place out
This place is just perfect in everyway possible. The food and the service. Of all the Indian restaurants I have ever been in the states, this place made me supremely satisfied. Amazing hospitality too. I could even give 10 stars for this place.
Oct 2022 update: I'm not sure if the ownership changed or they have a different chef. It was a total disappointment. None of the food we ordered was good. All were just average or below average. The vegetable biryani had absolutely no flavor. Won't be going back.
Excellent food! Superb flavor and super fresh. Couldnt have been more lucky to have found this place while riding through Ohio.
Vegetable platter was amazing Samaosa Chaat outstanding! Mango Lissa was super sweet!
A+
The lady took forever to give me the food. In fact I never got it because I was being harassed by another customer and no one was there to even witness this. The lady left the front window and no matter how many times I range the door bell, she would not come back up front.
Stay away from here.
By far the BEST Indian Food in Toledo & personally the best I’ve ever had! Authentic, friendly owners & employees, best service and food is always so good. Chicken tikka massala, garlic naan, vegetable samosa and papadam is my go-to ultimate meal here! High highly recommended
Surprisingly, the food was 5/5. We ordered online while passing from the city during lunch and it didn’t disappoint.
Thought the place was only offering take out at that time of the day and the place looked as if none visits (May be due to covid, they were closed for long and starting to open slowly - just guessing) but the food was well prepared.
We ordered samosas, chicken masala, malai kofta, naan. Except Naan, which could have been done better all other had authentic Indian food taste.
I would recommend for at least trying once ordering online.
Hands-down the best Indian food Toledo has to offer. My favorite appetizer is the vegetable samosa that comes along with mint chutney and my go-to entree is the chicken masala (HOT) along with garlic naan and mango lassi. I am also a fan of their yellow daal which is simple yet is filled with flavor and reminds me of home. Portion sizes are great for the price.
Whenever I go to the restaurant, I always receive politeness, kindness and smiles. I never had any problems with the wait time because the person/people who take the order over the phone is/are decent enough to inform if the wait time is long and also provide an estimate for when the order would be ready. They even go out of their way to text or call if the order is ready earlier than the time told over the phone.
The people that own the restaurant truly go above and beyond to satisfy their customers and do I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants Indian food in Toledo.
I last time I asked for hot and I love hot and spicy they gave me something completely inedible. This time I asked for medium and my masala sauce tasted like catch-up and drippy yogurt if whever then thinned the paste with. Used to be a Toledo delight. Took my money.told me wait in to the car. After thirty additional minutes from when I called it. I pressed the doorbell and the girl said a meaningless sorry.
