Target Distribution Center, West Jefferson OH

One of the most horrible experiences in my 33yrs of driving a truck. I wont set foot there again.

Easy access for semi trucks in and out. Very limited parking on the shoulder right before entry gate. Unloading time here for full load is average between 1.5 and 3 hours. Clean restroom is available inside next to the rec.office. With reefer loads you back in to the dock with door closed, they check the seal and open the door from inside. You also need safety west and mask with big target logo (JK about logo), otherwise you will be mark as a outlaw and cast out from Target kingdom forever! Or at least till you get some safety west from TA or Pilot located on the next exit (I70 ex 79, about two miles west from here). Receiving office works fast, usually no line here or maybe one driver ahead of you, that is all. Over all nice place but unloading should be a bit faster to give it five stars imho. Unloading is free of charge though, no Capsistone mafia here.

I bet my dispatcher 20 bucks it would take 4hrs or longer to live unload. I lost. Only took 2 so I can't make up for it with detention‍️

Easy check in at the main security gate. Proceed along the fence line, quick right then a left to where the semi's are docked. The receiving door is 43. Be sure to have the blue sheet with your paperwork to turn in. Unload time is roughly 3 hrs everything I've been here. Doors open from the inside and they have vending machines. Must leave property 30 min after unload complete. Hope this helps

If you have multiple stops on your truck, please don't come to this place, you will regret it. They take 5 to 10 hours to get you unload. I will never come back to this place. No respect for truckers time

Friendly customer service but the receiving dept is extremely slow! If you're delivering here make sure you have plenty of food & water.

Appointment was at 8: 30 am and just now leaving now. Missed other load because they took so long ‍️

Yes that right. They're very slowest & rudest. Need to change distribution management or manager.whom can work hard keep employees moving.

The first steps of getting hired here they take you through a walkthrough lets you see the warehouse then you go do paperwork and at the end of the paperwork they drug test you as a pee drug test. They have a nurse on site for the drug test you fill out your background check papers and if everything checks out they'll call you for orientation date which would be on a Tuesday or Thursday from 11 a. M. To 4 p. M.

Won't pay detention for for 4 hours I got here at 6: 15 a.m today. My appointment is at 7: 00a.m I called and told them I seen trucks come in after me and is leaving, receiver told me it depend on what's on the pallet to get unloaded, I had 15 pallets of juice box drink, it now 2: 27 p.m and still waiting

Only have 2 pallets to unload so far been sitting for 3 hrs trying to get unloaded hear my appointment time was for 830 I showed up an hr early and still getting a go around

Dont miss your appointment.you want get a reschedule til 2days later.and they unload very slow, had a appt for 16: 30 didn't leave til 23: 45.smfh

Worst place I have ever been.checked in 5.30am for 6am appointment, dropped my trailer and it's now 3pm.not even close to finish. U can park on walker dr.please don't try to get a load this target distribution.

If you had bad experience with Walmarts, and you thought they are bad, Target is going to make you change your mind.
If they can't beat Walmart in sales revenue, they are beating them for sure, in the
title race for the worst receiver in the USA.
If you are delivering here, do not book a load for that day. You will miss it for sure.
First 6 hours, no detention. I doubt they will pay any after the initial 6 hours.

Typical Target. Don't be late. Don't be too early. Drop trailer and wait (and wait). On the up side, there was a kinda hot chick if you don't mind tats and unnecessary piercings.

The slowest and rudest. I have 2 pallets and it's taken over 4 hours. I said something to the female Reciever and told her where going to charge detention and she said she dont care she dont pay it so I told her all the costumers of target will and she said she doesn't shop at target so oh well.

Busy staff that doesn't tend to help much but it's a busy place. Plenty of room to maneuver. Unloading could have been faster but didnt have to bother with lumpers.

If you work in outbound this is the stuff nightmares are made of, box, box, box, box, while the veterans cruise on fork lifts dropping stuff for you to configure into the trailer, oh and 100 % means 10 lanes which is okay for someone who has a goldfish brain and doesn't mind circling the bowl and doing the same tasks but if you think you're going to enjoy your job apply for inbound or warehouse

O/O please advise Target detentions policy is first 6 hrs is free. Check in at 5: 15am for 6 am apt. It’s 1 pm. Still waiting. Went and check with receiving office at 11: 00am they haven’t even touch my trailer yet. So typical Target.
