Tax Experience 2001, Cleveland OH

This was our first time filing for our business taxes, Stephanie was recommended to us, at first she seemed professional, but as time went on she slowly revealed that she lacked the 20 + years experience she continuously told us about. She started by filing our business under paperwork she was unfamiliar with waited for 1 week, then she decided to tell us she was switching to her original forms that she's comfortable with, our business has 2 people but she placed it under 1, which was fine. But she needed her personal information to add to our business taxes on, but in the end, she didn't separate her personal from the business, and she somehow sent part of her personal taxes to our business account, we had to wait for a federal check that was sent to her home even though our routing and account number was provided for her for direct deposit, not to mention we started this process in May and we didn't receive the check until JUNE! She prolonged the process for weeks! My business partner informed her that she got the check and deposited it, she told Stephanie on the same day that it's federal check and it'll take between 5-10 business days for it to clear. She called and texted my business partner 4 separate days in a row asking for her money, even though she was informed every day that the check was not cleared yet. Then last but not least she sent emails, and text messages stating that she has 1 client every year that tries to not pay, and that she tries to help out "her people", and that she works for the IRS and she'll make sure to withhold our bank account and remove all our information until our balance is paid in full. Now why would she assume that she won't get paid if my business partner has been open with communication and informing her that once the check has cleared she will get paid? She also charges $650 to do taxes, any kind which didn't sit right with us, but we didn't know any better. And she has informed us that we need to do better and be more professional. Never working with her again. I do not recommend her at all.
