Taydo Vietnamese & Chinese reviews
15Taydo serves up one of the best bowls of pho in the greater Cleveland area. Everything I’ve ordered has been excellent- takeout or dine in. The staff is kind and accommodating, so nice to feel warmly received at a restaurant.
The pork and vegetable broth was excellent. Try theor coffee too, it's perfect for a chilly day!
For a real home style place. This place can not be beaten
We are 30 year long customers. Everywhere we travel, only a few have come close.
Good family enjoy the fresh dishes and great people say hi to Sydney
I've been savoring Taydo since the late 90's. It is one of the best and consistent restaurants in the Cleveland area by far. Don't be fooled by the plastic coconut (?) plant in the corner. Thank you Taydo!
Updated review 2023/09/08. I have been getting the four seasons vermicelli bowl but this time I tried the number 25 rice dish which is almost the same ingredients just over rice. The flavors are just so amazing and everything is always so perfect. The service is always so friendly. The best part is that my kids also love this place so the entire family has a great time. I highly recommend Taydo.

Better than the pho served in downtown Cleveland. The four seasons vermicelli bowl is just amazing. The pho has a distinct flavor that is sweet with hints of cinnamon and other notes. I can't quite figure out. I highly recommend Taydo, especially if you live in Parma. Do not drive downtown for inferior pho.
The food was wonderful. I ordered spring rolls and everyone gobbled them up.
The pho was also delicious.
The number 53 and 23 were excellent too.
The thai bubble tea was good. My first one was so delicious my mom stole it. I ordered another and it too was tasty but the bubbles were hard and could crack a tooth.
I visited this restaurant on Nov. 11,2023, at about 6: 30pm. It wasn't overly busy, but very steady. It was myself and three others, all non-caucasian. We were the only non-caucasian people in there.
We were greeted, sat, and were brought our menus and water. That was the last we saw of the server.
Two families came in after us (at least seven or eight minutes after us), all caucasian, and not only were they seated and handed their menus/water, but their orders were taken, and appetizers were delivered. All while my party sat there watching and wondering if we'd ever get any service.
I saw the waiter scan the small restaurant to ensure everyone was being served, and he didn't even look our way. All the caucasian customers were being promptly served and enjoying their meals, but us non-caucasian customers didn't get anything more than water, not even a visual acknowledgement.
After sitting there for 20 to 25 minutes with absolutely no service other than the initial greeting and water, we decided to leave.
I will never come back, and I will tell all of my Pho-loving friends and family members to avoid this place.
Too bad I can't give a zero star review.
I had found a recommendation for Tay Do on Facebook and decided to try it! I am very happy I did. The waitress who was also one of the family owners helped us fine tune our choices. The beef in the lemongrass stir fry was so tender and deliciously flavored! We also had the fried rice and the pho with the beef! All was delicious! And the owner was so sweet and helpful! I can’t wait to go back!
TAY-DO is tucked away in a nondescript strip plaza and almost hidden behind a gas station. In my opinion it was well worth seeking out. It is a friendly, family run restaurant and I found my meal of Summer Rolls and a large Seafood Pho very satisfying. I thought the portions were generous and the bone broth left a nice tang on the back of my throat.
Was looking for a good Vietnamese place and I'm glad I tried this place out. I tried the chicken pho soup and it was tasty. Definitely worth trying.
One of my favorite new spots. Stopped in on a whim, and certainly glad I did. I love trying new and interesting things on menus, and immediately gravitated towards the Tamarind tofu soup. The server (I think maybe the owner?) told me it was a large bowl and suggested I don't order anything else until I see how big it was haha. I'm glad I heeded her advice, because the bowl was huge! And taste wise, was probably some of the best soup I've ever had in my life. I don't live in the area, but will find a reason to make it back here.
Wow! What a great restaurant. I was in the area for a vacation trip. A friend wanted to introduce me to Vietnamese cuisine. We picked the place randomly and we felt like we won the lottery. Phenomenal food and phenomenal service.
The rare beef pho I got was really great, the textures were on point and the add-as-you-go style the takeout was convenient. The whole establishment was very clean. The menu had a lot of options that looked good, I will definitely be back!
We were a group of ten and they accommodated us so nicely. Not everyone had had Vietnamese food before so our server was very helpful explaining the dished and even instructed us how to further enjoy our leftovers! There were plenty of regulars coming in and out which was lovely to see. All the portions were large and all the food was very delicious! I had my favorite dish which is Bun, or vermicelli salad. It was different from other bun I've had but delicious none the less. It was so full of fresh salad and herbs, plus cucumbers combined with the rice vermicelli, which I chose to top with lemongrass chicken. Topped it off with fish sauce, hoisin and Sriracha. Magnifico!
