Terminix, Maumee OH

I own a business that requires a pest control contract. Contacted Terminix because I heard good things about them. The two guys I have been in contact with, Eric & Chris, have been friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional.

Our technician, Jacob, was wonderful! He was so kind and took extra time to explain why they were doing certain things and how they worked. He put our minds at ease about everything. He was very considerate when performing his job inside and outside of the house. It is professional and kind people loke you that leave a lasting positive impression about a company. Way to go Jacob!

I live deep in the woods and had termites when I bought the house they treated for termites with bait. I have them come out quarterly to treat the house, attic and basement and I see hardly any bugs in my house. All the one star reviews seem odd to me cause if anyone should have a problem with bugs it would be me. They have always been on time to every appointment. I would and have recommended there services.

This place is a joke, do not waste your money. I can't believe this place is still around. Signed up for a monthly thing 9 months ago and they came out twice but only after we called several times. They are horrible

Said they handle bird mites sprayed 5 times. Come to find out they don't even treat for bird mites so what did they spray for?

I can do a reoccurring appointment with them, which makes it hands-off and easy to do business with them. Jason is very professional and courteous of my time. Would definitely recommend if you want to maintain a bug-free home!

I absolutely would not recommend Terminix for any services at your home. In a years time my wife and I have spent $424 on their yearly home subscription and we have not been treated well at all. I've had some type of gnats in my basement for weeks now. I have contacted my technician on three separate occasions in that same time period. I texted him on 10/6/21,10/14/21 and on 10/19/21 without any response. The technician that I was calling just so happens to be my local branches general manager. So I took it upon myself to call the terminix 1-800 number and speak to a customer service rep. During the call I explained that i have been trying to get a tech out to my house for the better part of 2 weeks and haven't gotten a response. So then the CSR attempted to schedule a tech for me but could not get the scheduling to populate. So their solution was for me to give them 3 days that I am available for a tech to come to my home. Then they will call me back in 48 hours to let me know if they are available during those times. After Ive paid them over $400 for services, my expectation would be to have someone respond to me promptly, schedule my services at my convenience, and be treated decently. None of these things happened. How can you ask a customer to give you times they are available and you'll take 2 days to decide if that work for you. Sad excuse of a company.
Terminix is a poor excuse of a company, a company that does not value their customers. I proceeded to cancel my subscription today, and not one individual that I spoke to even made attempted to retain me as a customer or try to resolve my issues at all.

Shane was hear and did a great Job. But I have had the problem for over a year and I was told you get rid of these bugs YOU HAVE NOT!

Have been trying to contact and seem to never be able to get an answer from anyone. Was trying to schedule for almost a month before anyone came out. I have spent a lot of money with no results and it is very frustrating. Even when I called and asked to speak to a service manager which I hate having to do and still no response or call back. Worst customer service I have ever encountered and will most likely be canceling my service and going elsewhere for services.

My first encounter with terminix was fine, but my second will be my last. In April 2021, terminix performed an inspection for me and everything went as expected. I needed a second inspection performed at the beginning of July 2021. The inspector failed to show up for the scheduled appointment with no warning. I called terminix the next morning and they apologized, said they would look into it an call me back. The next morning I called them again since they failed to call me back, they apologized again and scheduled my new appointment, but still could not explain why they failed to show up for the inspection two days prior. The morning of the new appointment, an inspector called and apologized that he would not be able to do the inspection because he was not licensed to do so. He recommended that I find a new company to conduct the inspection because terminix in the Toledo, OH area has no one licensed for WDI inspections. Whole House Check out of Bowling Green, OH came to the rescue with an appointment within 48 hours.

If you can't do the job, don't take the job. Don't waste people's time waiting on a service you can't deliver.

So far very happy with them seems to be doing the job. We just had our exterior of the house sprayed for general bugs.

Very very poor communications. Had to go through a national call center to get my local Termimix then my apt was messed up. Took a day off work for nothing. When my apt finally came the inspector never showed up. The only reason they got 2 stars is because the guy who actually sprayed for spiders was a super nice guy who was patient and answered all my questions.

This place is AWESOME! I live on the water, as do many (large) pests from spiders and centipedes to snakes and mice. The spiders and centipedes are NOT welcome within a 1 mile radius of my home, however the come anyways and bring their friends. While terminex states a mile of spray wasn't possible, they do go above and beyond to keep my home pest free! The technician who works on my home does an excellent job, with great attention to detail and a positive attitude towards his work. After spraying, I don't see any spiders or centipedes inside or outside, which is shocking because living on the water is a magnet for creepy crawlies! Sooo thankful for terminex and their services. Also the spray used is safe for pets and kids which is very important to me

Dan always does a nice, thorough job. We haven't had insect issues for years because of our Terminix service.

Absolutely horrible. Initially very friendly and helpful with myself and my landlord. After the first treatment, very difficult to get ahold of. Finally, after setting up a second appointment, they came out and just looked around and told me I probably wouldn't need another treatment but give it a couple weeks and call them back if I needed them (even said to text the number they gave me, as they would be able to answer quicker). So, after a few weeks when I needed to get ahold of them again, no answer. I texted and called multiple times. My landlord called the numbers we were given AND the "dispatch" number several times, being told they should contact us in 24-48 hours. They basically ghosted us completely.

Quarterly service. We are under an annual contract with Terminix for pest service and have been for the past 5 or 6 years. We can always count on Terminix to keep us comfortable in our home by controlling pests that manage to make their way inside. Our technician is Mark Saleh. He is on time every time, very thorough, always inquires if there are other pest issues he should be aware of and makes viable recommendations. We're very satisfied with Terminix and the services provided, as well as those that are available to us.

The technician that came to the house was super informative and helpful in answering all the questions we had.

I was very impressed with Terminix. They were extremely professional, compassionate and walked me through all of their options. They came to handle our mice problem as well as general pest issues. I would recommend them to others in the area!
