Tesla Service Center, Toledo OH

Matt & Dustin were outstanding in my most recent service experience. I won't bore with the details of the service, but I will highlight that they were both incredibly professional & knowledgeable as we worked through a very specific issue I was having with my Y. Well done & I wouldn't hesitate to use this service center in the future. They really went above & beyond to make this a positive experience and solve the issue. Thank you to you both!

Had my car scheduled for its first ever maintenance/repair, and it turned out to be a disaster. I was first greeted by no road at this location. The road itself was tore up and was not even accessible from the main road causing you to take a detour on the straight gravel stones they laid for your car to get scratched up to service your vehicle. After I arriving having to taking a back road detour, I was greeted to find out my repair time would not be accurate. My service was supposedly to be finished at 1: 00pm after dropping it off for minor things (weather stripping, license plate and front plastic fascia as it had rocks stuck in it). After waiting several hours I decided to call the location since nobody updated the app or called me to find out the status of my vehicle since its been over an hour past pick up time and that supposedly they were “wrapping everything up and it was good and I could make my way back to the location ”. (2: 30pm) I made my back to the location, sitting patiently for my $100,000 to be given back to only be greeted by the advisor saying “my window failed the calibration and would not go up”. I then proceed to ask what was gonna happen next and how to move forward. The advisor gave me some options such as I could take the car home and have a service person come to my house to fix it when the part arrives or leave my car and get a loaner as I live an hour away from this location. I settled to have the advisor setup the service appointment (almost two weeks later) to the service guy telling since they reset my car and it’s not failing now, that they would not replace it. (As it failed on them for hours when they worked on it two weeks previously causing them roll the window up as a last resort via hands) causing the appointment to happen in the first place. (not even one of the reasons the car was in for service the very first time) I asked the service person who arrived since they were not interested in changing the part if there’s somebody I could talk to get it replaced for sake of peace, he told me he was in charge of it and no there was nobody higher up that I could resolve the issue with and that if my window just fails again to make another service appointment when it does. Terrible communication, terrible service and terrible road. I would check to see if they are paved before even trying to schedule your appointment at this location or you may get excess gravel throwing at your car from fellow ongoing cars!

Excellent shop and staff! I have had them out to my house for warranty work and have spoken to them on the phone. They never rushed me off the phone and were super cool answering all of my questions! Very nice people there and very professional! I absolutely recommend them!

I must give a shoutout. I have been a loyal Tesla customer since 2016. Of the many reasons, the customer service experience is and has always been, bar none, the most seamless and expedient service one could expect. This is the second time I have gotten a flat tire due to a pot hole in the Columbus area. I notified Tesla through the app at 1am of the incident. By 10am Sevaan (sorry if I am spelling his name wrong) took my car into the shop, and my Model Y was back in business by 10: 43am - literally hours before the estimated time. This is how it has always been for me. Of all the reasons I will continue to only purchase Teslas, safety and service remain the top of my list. Gratefully, Ryan Slaten

They had road repair but route was so confusing, no signs were placed and we had to figure out the direction.

A decent waiting room and nice environment. My other two repair experiences at other tesla service center took a while so I brought everything I can to wait while my car is being repaired.
The repair process went smoothly. It took about 1 hr earlier than expected and my additional drive of 1.5 hours from michigan was very worth it to try. I will come back again!

I have been to this service center twice. Each time I have been beyond pleased. I can tell you these are good honest people working here. I chose to drive an extra 30 minutes to go to this location since I had such a positive experience the first time. Our car had an issue that I got quoted around 6,000$ to replace and fix issue at another location in a different state. These guys were able to fix it and it was only around $300. I am blown away and beyond thankful! Go here if you can!

Very impressed with ease of service. Travis was the tech who was assigned. He was easy to talk and rode along in our Model Y to listen to the rattles we were complaining about. We also pointed out some fit and finish issues and asked if he could do something about it. He was very attentive and assured to do what he could and said he could definitely fix at least the rear glass/door rattling issues. I waited for maybe couple of hours at most while I did some work and send some emails. Was informed my car was ready - rattling issues were gone! And the headlights looked better aligned and flush with the body. Thanks so much for taking care of such issues while the build quality continues to improve!

Update: they made things right and will detail the car. Appreciate them following up.

2nd visit was a 180 in a bad way… they serviced my car all day (which was planned) then rushed it out to me before they closed on Friday evening. It took me over an hour to clean up the interior. Found drills bits left over. When I turn my car in I expect it to be of the same level cleanliness when I get it back. Especially being less than a month old and paying for a premium service. Do better, really disappointed. They also had finger print marks all over the interior by the windshield on the cloth. New scratches on my hood. This is very unprofessional.

Old: Great staff and service, definitely will be back until the Ann Arbor location opens up! We went on a test drive and diagnosed the issue. Free charge while I was low, they definitely took care of me.

I have to post a huge kudos to the Tesla Service Center team at 6142 Telegraph Road in Toledo Ohio. We were visiting family for Christmas and I received a message stating the power train needed service. I called into Tesla customer support and the rep stated I had an oil pump failure. The other notice I didn't get a photo of said the car was limiting us to a max speed of 56 miles per hour which I tested and it was indeed the fact. She contacted the Toledo service center and told them our situation and they said bring it right in. Long story short they had the parts, said the technician would work after hours on it, gave us a Model X as a loaner and said our Model Y would be finished by morning when they open back up which was exactly the case when I returned the loaner when they opened the next day. Tesla service centers can often take it on the chin because of distances and scheduling but those guys bent over backwards to get us back on the road. The Tesla Toledo service team totally rocks.

Crazy you can drive a car for 3.5 years and take it in because it's not giving you any problems but you thought it might be a good idea to have them "take a looksie". In and out within 45 minutes. Brake calipers checked and cleaned, fluids checked, recall on the trunk repaired (even though I wasn't having problems), cabin air filter replaced, tires rotated. Cost was $188. Nice lobby with coffee, cocoa, etc. Met some nice people while waiting!

The guys over at the Toledo Service center are great. They replaced a part under good will, that they really didn’t have to and I appreciate that. Plus they put up with me and that alone is worth 5/5 stars.
