Restaurant TGI Fridays reviews
19Still the best of the old chains out there. Needs a little repairs inside, but I would go again.
My wife and I come here at night to eat a appetizer and catch up on the day. It’s a good time and the bar service is great!
Update 2023: Unfortunately, the best things on the menu are still the appetizers. Pasta wasn't terrible, but sauce was separating (cream sauce), grilled chicken was fairly overcooked. Apple Butter BBQ had a very odd taste to it and far too much liquid smoke. Fries were definitely refried and overcooked/greasy.
Server and bar were awesome and hospitable and provided great service. Food has a ways to go, still.
The fried shrimp was very good. The fries were mushy and coleslaw not to my taste. The 'pretzels', although good, were overdone and not pretzel shaped. Better off calling them breadsticks. Either the chef didnt use egg wash or they boiled them for too long.
The food was so terrible the boneless chicken wings were hockey pucks. The skins was like rubber Server was very nice. But I will never eat here again. Worst food
Did a carry out order, literally every white worker walked right by me and said nothing. Did not ask if I was dining in or if I had been helped. Even spoke to a server and he looked at me and kept walking! A black server finally came and greeted me and pointed me to where I needed to pick up my food. Again several workers walked by me, until a black cook or server came out from the kitchen to assist me. I will not return to this racist establishment, it should close like all the other locations it's filthy anyway!
We came in 2 hours before closing they told us that can’t serve food because they’re short staffed. Don’t waste your time.
Update: There’s a BW3 5 minutes away that was fast and friendly. They smiled, gave us a table immediately and our service and food was amazing!
We ordered delivery through Doordash from this location. My daughter got the kids mac and cheese. When she took a bite she immediately spit it out. We didn't notice at first but it looks like they package delivery food days ahead, 3 days in the case of her mac and cheese, and they must not store it safely because it was definitely spoiled. The mac smelled sour and look curdled. My wife tried to call and let them know, so that they wouldn't serve unsafe food to others, but they put her on hold then hung up on her.
Had one of the new burgers and it was great! I'd recommend the Philly cheese steak one
Whatever you do do not order curbside. You'll wait an hour for cold, soggy, food. Happened to us twice. So if you need to order, eat in or be able to physically go and pick it up. The first time my husband went in, they waved him off (Along with other people) and told him that they could all wait
Very poor service, chicken sandwich was disgusting! Burger’s we’re bland and the cheese was awful! Would NOT recommend
Absolutely disgraceful.
I have never in my life complained about a restaurant. The food was wrong. The food was cold. The server was unavailable. Upon asking for fresh sides the response was “whenever more is made I can bring some” as if it was an inconvenience. Also, there was hair in the appetizer.
At the end, we asked for them to do something about it and per the manager all she could do was “take a couple dollars off” when the bill was 100 dollars and the experience and food was worth not even a penny.
A secret shopper NEEDS to visit this shop and evaluate the cleanliness. I am concerned for peoples health.
With all of that being said, the bartender was wonderful. Made awesome drinks. & was extremely attentive when we had to walk up due to our server being gone for long periods at a time.
Please do not go here. There are many other restaurants on Cox Rd.that are worth your money, time and experience.
I hadn't eaten here in quite some time due to them closing all the TGI Fridays in Memphis. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The garlic parmesean wings were very tasty.
Hadn't been in a TGIF for a long time. Food was pretty good, server was better. I'd visit again.
Waited 15 minutes at the hostess desk and nobody ever showed. We finally went in the bar area even though we had no intention of drinking but it was the only place we saw an employee ever. He was so busy but did a fine job. He had to bartend, wait tables, and serve. The food was good and hot so there must have been someone in the kitchen. I never saw another employee in the almost 2 hours we were there.
We ordered take out and the girl that gave us our food asked for a tip Our burgers were cooked wrong, burnt on the outside but not done on the inside.
Bad food, bad inconsiderate service. Started with drinks - ordered a slush, waitress returned with the flavored drink with regular ice stating that she did not know they were out of the correct ice. What? Brought is a watered down Coke, and proceeded to try to explain to us how that couldn't be. Our entrees were just flavorless, with cold sides. We decided we would just pay for our apps and drinks, and be done. When Aliyah brought the manager over, she proceeded to try to explain how WE were mistaken, and made excuses for everything we said was wrong. The nearly empty parking lot should have been a warning. What the hell Fridays. TRASH
I ordered to go. It took longer than it said and probably bc they were busy burning the food. Wasnt good.
They consistently serve my kid burnt, hard chicken fingers. Hard as in I can't even cut them up. This is insulting and disgusting.
