When I needed to replace my old boiler, Thatcher did the job. I was very pleased. Now, several years later, the electronic control is malfunctioning. Two service workers came and diagnosed the problem and assured me they would obtain the part and get the furnace operating properly. It has been a week with NO FOLLOW-UP in spite of numerous calls inquiring about the state of the pending replacement part. I cancelled my plans to travel out-of-town for Thanksgiving lest my pipes freeze and burst while I am gone. I must manually ignite the burners numerous times a day to keep the hose moderately warm. I am very unhappy and disappointed.

Called the morning after Christmas Day bc we had no heat. They arrived quickly. Repaired furnace and hot water tank. Professional, quality work and inexpensive. THANK YOU!

After having called for several weeks, attempting to get a company recommended by a neighbor, I finally called Thatcher Heating & Cooling. They sent someone within 30 minutes. Fred arrived and got right to work. Fred identified the issue and resolved it within a quick amount of time. He showed me things about our Steam Boiler unit and took the time to educate me. When the invoice came, it was truly fair and reasonably priced for the work. I can’t thank Fred/Thatcher enough! Would certainly use them again.

Made an initial assessment and ordered a fan we thought was needed. Came back a few days later when the part arrived. Further troubleshooting upon install discovered and fixed a smaller issue. Returned the fan and billed only for time and service. Fast and honest. Outstanding.

Our finance stopped working on a Friday evening, making for a very chilly night and a pretty cold Saturday. After calling multiple HVAC companies and being told no one could get to us until Monday or being told it would be very costly to get someone out on the weekend, I ran across Thatcher. Fred came out at the exact time that he said he would, on a Saturday afternoon; and he diagnosed and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. He even came back out when I had some questions regarding the furnace. We are very grateful that we found Thatcher Heating and Cooling and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

My air conditioner went out on a Friday late in the afternoon. I have 2 very ill parents. They got to me very quickly, were very professional, and their prices were more than fair. After this interaction, I decided to use them for my furnace maintenance in the fall. Dollaine, the scheduler, was also great. Highly recommend.

I scheduled a check up for the A/C System because at the end of last Summer it didn’t seem to be running efficiently. First time I picked Thatcher due to location and the positive reviews. Fred was extremely thorough and he went into great detail with explaining how everything is working. I would have never known but some of my ducts weren’t open. Fred uncovered the issue when I mentioned the poor air circulation from the events that were further away from the furnace. I thought the blower was just getting near the end of its life. He confirmed my attic exhaust fan was not working and gave a great tip on leaving the blower fan set to on to keep the air circulating when it’s hot out. I don’t leave many reviews and am tough to please but kudos to Fred and Thatcher!

Grouchy receptionist who said she would call me back to schedule an appointment but never did. I had to call her and she acted as if it was too difficult to schedule me for service. I ended up going with another company, the receptionist was friendly and they got back to me immediately.
