I reached out to the Anxiety Center when we suspected OCD in my 12 year old son. The wait list was long, but wait lists are long everywhere right now so I don't count that against them. What I do count against them is that they called me a couple times looking for an entirely different person, even after I told them the first time that they had the wrong number. That should have been the first red flag. The third time they called for this other person, it had been much longer than they had initially told me and I asked about my son's spot in the wait list. They finally got him an appointment, but only after I insisted he be seen. Second red flag.

The provider we saw, Dr. Cory Slusher, was great. She had a great rapport with my son and he really enjoyed talking to her. She got him set up on medication for his OCD and anxiety and put him on the list for therapy. We had a few follow ups with her and had a positive experience.

Then school started and time flew by and before I knew it, my son's medication was low. I realized I hadn't heard from the Anxiety Center about a follow up in a while. I knew Dr. Slusher had surgery and was going to be out but she was supposed to be back by then. I called and couldn't get anyone to answer. I emailed his provider and the email bounced back to me. Eventually I spoke with someone who told me that this provider never came back and they were transferring all her patients to another provider. I never received a notice about this and no one reached out to me to schedule my son's follow up. I expressed my frustration and they set up his follow up appointment. We met with this other provider and she was much less engaging than our previous provider. But he needed his medication so I stuck with it. We also finally got him scheduled for teletherapy a couple weeks later.

The therapy appointment arrives and I go to log in to the telehealth portal and the appointment is listed as being in person. I call the office and it goes straight to voicemail. So I wait. Eventually I get a call asking if we're coming and I remind them that this was supposed to be a telehealth appointment as we are located 45 minutes away and it's a school day. Turns out the therapist he was scheduled with wasn't licensed in my state and couldn't do telehealth. This should have been checked the day they made the appointment. I told them I would be seeking care elsewhere and wouldn't be paying for the missed appointment.

They are difficult to communicate with, their receptionists have thick accents, which is difficult for those of us with audio processing disorders, they are disorganized, neglectful, and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Oh, and I received a notice that the new provider we were seeing no longer works there now. Makes you wonder.

The Anxiety Center truly changed my life. The Lord led me to them at a time when I truly felt that my life might never get back to “normal”. After struggling with debilitating anxiety and OCD for 2 years, I was desperate for help and reached out to the Anxiety Center. They were an absolute answer to all of our prayers. Skylar, Sarah Snow and Marielle were/are my therapists and there truly are not enough words to tell how amazing they are. They are gifted beyond words, the most caring women, so knowledgeable and truly the best of the best. I will forever be grateful to them. The fact that there are nurse practitioners, therapists and many other resources all in one building is phenomenal, and makes the steps to healing so much easier than working with multiple different practices/doctors. Thank you Dr. Fite for what you have built! You all are changing lives one day at a time!

Really appreciate Cory, after a lot of PCPs shooting in the dark and a lot of terrible telehealth experiences I found the anxiety center. She made the awkward new patient appointment easy and was very thorough to address all my issues and concerns and I feel like strides have been made to start a plan that will actually help me in the long term.

This place is great and has really helped me out Jeremy Nelson highly recommend but the one thing I recommend is they keep the ac on 68 because every time a cone in they have it on 73 or 74 and it’s always hot and if you could get back to me on this, that would be great

Thanks!

I did TMS through the Cincinnati Anxiety Center and it has done wonders for me! The staff was amazing and so caring. The listened to any concerns I had with insurance and worked with my financial status and we were able to make a plan! I would definitely recommend them to a friend in need!

Disappointing. Disorganized. Unprofessional. I truly wanted to work with this center. My initial visit was very positive.
However, There is no way to contact by phone. I went in person and they struggled 30 minutes to get me on the portal for forms. When I did start to fill out the form there were major glitches in website that prevented me from completing it. There was no one to help. The office area was deserted. So I left with a printout after an hour. I do not doubt the competence and good intentions of this group. I went there because It was recommended and they received glowing reviews. It is understandable why I do not feel confidence letting them put drugs into me with such a disorganized office.
