The Aster, Beachwood OH

We have loved living at the Aster. The entire staff is so kind. Stacie is so passionate about her job and it shows in her work.

I would highly recommend a top floor apartment. The footsteps are very loud despite just walking normally.

Also crazy how often the elevators stop working. They do keep us updated on repairs but in the year we have lived there we have been without an elevator for at least 1-2 months.

Overall have enjoyed living here.

Great place to live. The location is great, and very convenient being close to Woodmere shops, Pinecrest and getting on to I-271. The apartments are modern and really like the fact I have my own washer dryer in the apartment. The staff are great and fixed any maintence issues within 24 hours. Really like the wine down Wednesday's they do. Great way to meet your fellow residents. Highly recommend.

I just moved to the Aster and it was an amazing experience. The staff was great. I moved from a different luxury apartment complex and there’s no comparison.

UPDATE: no resolution to the situation, My conversation with the manager was met with no action or resolve. I had told the management that the halls reek of Marijuana every day, Nothing has been done. My request to move into a bigger unit is still being considered and I was told I will hear from them about the move in by the end of December. I am debating a legal recourse.
Do not rent.

Very deceptive practices. We are currently renting with Asters at Beachwood. Buyers beware. The leasing agent told us on our faces when we moved in that they only had a small unit available at this time. After we moved in the narrative changed completely. Initially, she said we could move into a bigger unit as soon as one became available- When we moved into our unit- and another bigger unit unit came available they told us that their policy was that they didnt allow anyone to move units until 6 months into the lease. I am moving from out of town and the only offer they are giving us is to lease their 3 bedroom unit that faces a GRAVEYARD, I am serious! This unit sits next to a graveyard. I am very very upset! I cant wait to leave this lease and move away. Get every single detail in writing they are very dishonest with what they tell you upfront and what they do after you move in.

Move in the aster in 2022 and was the best decision I made, the Staffing is very nice and caring about there residents, Any time there any issues with anything in my apartment it’s get resolved within the next day. I just love my apartment

Moving into The Aster was easy and hassle-free, which was a huge relief. The staff here are amazing - they're always friendly and super helpful, making everyday life a lot easier. Plus, the neighbors are great; it's nice to live in a place where people actually smile and say hi in the hallways.

So far, living here has been really good! The amenities are really nice and the people are always helpful. If you ever need anything, they will respond fairly fast and will try to accommodate you to the best of their abilities. For example, when we were moving in, Kate was able to find a cart for us and save one for us that same day so we would have one when we moved in (which saved us TONS of extra trips)

We have lived at The Aster for 3 years now. You can’t beat the location; you can be on 271 in less than one minute. The staff is very helpful and always takes good care of its residents. The pool is an amazing place to spend your summer. There is a monthly Wine Down Wednesday resident event, which is a great way to meet your neighbors. In fact, since living here, we have made several life-long friends.

Nice place but they STEAL deposits. Apartment can be spotless and they will come up with any excuse to steal your money. Don't rent here.

I lived at The Aster between 2020 to June 2023.

Location: near Ahuja Hospital and the highway. It’s so easy to get onto the highway from here but you don’t really get the highway pollution noise. There are also plenty of nearby hotels on the same street for when you have guests. There are many restaurants nearby including Hyde Park and P. F. Chang’s which are walking distance (so clutch during winter storms!).
Amenities: amenities are great. There’s plenty of storage in the units. The facilities are modern. The underground parking is heated which is great during the winter. The coffee nook was useful. The package room is accessible via a phone app.
Staff: The staff was friendly and attentive whenever I had any issues or questions. They would greet you when they saw you and ask how your day was. The maintenance crew is so friendly and helpful in resolving issues and seem to genuinely care.
Noise: The main drawback to the place can be the noise. Public areas during weekly events and holidays can get noisy. There are also thinner walls between units so you can hear… a lot.
Payments: no need to run downstairs to the leasing office to pay your bills! They use an online system that takes banking accounts and credit cards. This was so convenient especially since I was very busy daily.

Overall, I loved living there. It was a place to comfortably come home to after a busy day at work. I genuinely miss the staff and living there and would live there again in a heartbeat if I moved to the Cleveland area.

The Aster is one of the best companies we have worked with yet! Kate is wonderful to communicate with. They care deeply about the property and their tenants and it shows!

An awesome and lovely place to stay. Regularly having resident events to hang out and meet your neighbors. In a cold area like Ohio, staying in this place feels especially warm. Thanks Aster and the management team. Will miss you guys.
