Restaurant The Barn reviews
18Mexican Mondays are my favorite where else can you go for 1.59 tacos, with awesome service and music you love plus drinks and some of the greatest people I've ever met. Love it!
Friendly staff.great environment. Good food.and yes it can get a bit loud it is a bar.just don't come on Friday or Saturday night.if you don't want a bunch of noise.
By the way.
I had the pork ribs and sauerkraut today.
Fall off the bone ribs.green beans.the sauerkraut is the best I have had so far.
Walked in sat down said hi I'm Robert, the 21 year old bar tender just asked me what I'm drinking and was really rude the whole time, didn't even introduce herself like a lady. Her jeans were so tight she could barely walk and keep a straight face or attitude towards the public, while a bunch of old men locals sat there making her dread her life. Wish I would've skipped this place. Life really sucks here.
We were passing through Zanesville from out of town and saw some good reviews about the food. NeVER AGAIN! Worst food i ever had from a bar/grill. I know a lot of people have been coming here for years and they are just comfortable but the food needs to improve 100%. Edit: my friend ordered the monster pizza and chicken fingers per someone who reffered those options. I ordered the chicken salad and the boom boom shrimp. I will say I did love the boom boom shrimp sauce though.
I would like to thank The Barn for the food they have made for the Veterans appreciation Day, and for the free Veterans days meals. Thank you for calling my husband when he lost his service dogs tag there as he was there for the Veterans days meal.
Table was dirty, and the corner we sat in smelled like mold. Can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. Food was mediocre at best, drinks were well priced which is good, because you will need it. Also pretty sure we caught a nasty cold from this place.
My brother loves this place. Drives from Cambridge to go there. We have plenty of good local bars that definitely compare to this place (DTA to name one). So he got me to go 2x now and it's ok. First time, wast crowed and a weekday, second time was crowded and Friday night. Getting a drink took us 45 min! So not the staffs fault, but was very annoyed, and wasn't doing that all night. But vibe wdlad good and food is ok.
Mediocre pizza. Looks good in their advertisement on TV, but to me it is a little underdone and the crust has very little taste. I don't know what the deal is with their sauce, but I kept burping it all night to the point of almost feeling ill. That has never occurred when eating other brands. Overall not really impressed with the taste.
In three visit its been pretty consistent service and always cold beer. Can't exactly trust the drink/draft menu. Out of our first choice of beverages in the last two visits. Food is pretty alright. I'd stick with the burger.
Waitress was distracted with wrapping silverware for next day. I was wanting another drink and everyone I looked over towards her she was either texting on her phone or getting silverware wrapped for next day. Place wasn't overly crowded at the time She just needs to be more aware of taking care of current customers or tomorrow's customers may not show.
Outstanding atmosphere to unwind after a hard day and enjoy the company of friends. The patio provides a nice touch. Service is good. I recommend “The Mobster” pizza; excellent!
In town for the weekend. Had the poppers and the the broccoli/cheddar crust supreme pizza. Both were great! Would recommend the broccoli cheese crust with parmesan garlic sauce pizza. Hannah was our waitress and she was great! We will be back for sure!
First time there. My oldest Grandson and I went there. The menu was printed and easy to read. The variety of foods was a great match. I had the Ribeye sandwich and it was delicious. I will be back there. Staff is very friendly.
Way to crowded. Couldn't get a table. Might try again someday. Tried it today 9/3/21 early and it was great. Will go back.
Im a security guard for the barn, its got awesome entertainment for all, food is great. Bring your family and friends out and experience it for yourselves.
We have at at the barn several times and their food has been fine. However, Saturday June 26th, We were there around 2: 30 in the afternoon, not busy at all, waited over an hour for our food and the fish sandwich was completely burned and BLACK and my wrap didn't even come with all the ingredients. The manager was working on books beside our table, and when the waitress told him, he shrugged his shoulders. Not even a word of concern. We did not pay for the fish, as they kindly took it off our bill, but no concern from the manager that we waited that long, or didn't get our food at all. They just chucked the fish in the trash. We have been long time customers, and will not be returning.
We were on a road trip for a softball tournament and chose here for our first night here. When we arrived we didn’t know what to expect. Service was a bit slow but due to the shear amount of people it was appropriate. Even though it was slower service, the atmosphere here was perfect to fit the wait. Live band and great food all around.
We stopped for dinner and a beer during vacay and were very pleased. Food was hot and beer was cold. A lot to take home for snacking later. After looking for other places to eat and not finding anything worth while, went back to The Barn 3 nights in a row!
