The Barn Above The Lakes, LLC, Leetonia OH

We had our wedding at The Barn Above The Lakes in September of this year. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The venue is gorgeous. We had so many compliments. Roxanne was extremely helpful and flexible throughout the whole process. She met us out there many times so I could nail down my vision. She helped us with both set up and tear down. I highly recommend this venue! Thank you!

Look no further if you’re planning a Barn Wedding that has a beautiful scenery, indoor restrooms, kitchen and very clean interior. Roxanne is very helpful and easy to work with. The negative reviews are surely because people don’t read the contract they sign and expect to violate the terms. Roxanne was very accommodating for us to set-up and tear down and even helped us. Every guest at our wedding was asking how we found the venue because it was gorgeous. I would recommend anyone to book their wedding at this venue. We decided to have our ceremony at the venue as well and the barn above the lakes was very accommodating. This is a tremendous venue and you’re missing out if you don’t at least visit it yourself.

This venue was perfect for my wedding October 7th. The owner was so nice, helpful and respectful to our wishes. We respected her property and she respected us. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married espeicallyif they want to have an outside wedding and inside reception. Thank you so much to the owner WE LOVED EVERYTHING.

This is a fantastic wedding venue! The views are beautiful! Roxanne was very accommodating throughout the entire booking process and through the wedding day. Being able to set up on Friday before and take down the Sunday after is a huge perk. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! We have nothing, but positive things to say about the Barn Above the Lakes!

The Barn Above the Lakes is a beautiful venue! I love how open and country it is! The owner puts a lot of work into it & wants to make sure everyone’s special day is perfect! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a barn wedding!

I was the best man in a wedding yesterday at this beautiful barn. The property is amazing, all the way from the barn to the lakes! The perfect amount of space for the size of our families. Couldn’t of asked for a more beautiful, well kept, and well managed property for their big day!

During the booking process, the owner was great. During the rehearsal dinner things changed. The owner was extremely judgmental on the way I wanted things set up. It was up to us to set the tables up but only the way she wanted because “it would affect the pictures people would post of her barn”. Every decoration that I had, every table, every chair, had to go where she wanted it.

On Saturday during the wedding, she acted more as a wedding planner rather than the venue host, & was not helpful at all. She coordinated my guests.

On the night of the wedding, we had the venue until 10 P. M.as stated in our contract & it also stated that if we wanted extra time, that could be negotiated. At 8: 30 P. M.she started cleaning up tables and taking all our center pieces and table clothes down. My family had asked her to please stop as we had plenty more time and my step father asked if more time could be added for an additional cost since she was ancy. She told my step father that if we did not leave by 10 P. M.as stated in the contract, she would call the police. She then proceeded to throw all of our homemade center pieces away. At 10 till she was telling people they needed to leave as we were all clearly gathering our belongings & heading out. She threatened to call police again.

I know you all must be thinking we had to of done something for her to act this way. Absolutely not. Just a normal wedding & reception. Got married, did pictures, ate, danced, & dealt with the hassle of the owner.

The venue was beautiful, but that was about the only good thing about this place. Myself and every person involved with my wedding would not recommend!
