I went here by mistake, I was looking for the other museum and I am so happy I made a mistake I'll still go to the other museum but this was great. Three levels of beauty and awe. Even for the two teenagers we had with us.

Fantastic restaurants, excellent store, along with so many art pieces that you will get tired before seeing everything. Recommend going easy and staying until closing with a break for lunch and dinner. Special exhibits cost, but are unique.

Nice place to visit. Good cafe inside. Peaceful vibes in a large quiet atrium. Art exhibits are in the buildings that surround the atrium.

Easily one of my favorite places in Cleveland. I go there all the time for class papers and just for fun. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere.

I went here a few months ago with someone firstly you have to pay for parking and food inside the building no water allowed with you. This place is suppose to be a calming and serene environment. While we were looking at one of the pieces of art, the person that I was with decided to touch the artwork (he must have forgotten that it’s a rule not to touch the artwork). After this a heavyset Caucasian woman with colored hair streaks yells “Please don’t touch! ” Etc. He apologized and she said nothing and contented standing around us and I glared at her because of how she approached the situation, her tone of voice, she was rude, and no reassurance after he apologized which would have made the encounter better. The other workers were nice for the most part and no further issues arise. I saw the food and smells it from the kitchen probably not worth your time or money. This is a good place to learn and the environment is beautiful.

Free parking available just a short walk away. Street parking with coins. In their park garage: 14$.

The museum is absolutely great, clean and free. The staff is very friendly.

At every step and turn there is something new to discover, something that takes you to another place and time.

An outstanding art museum with an impressive collection. Western art was my principal interest, but they cover the world.
By the way, do not trust Garmin for directions: "Cleveland Museum of Art" had me "reach my destination" in downtown, 6.5 miles from the museum. maps works. Also, park on the top level of the garage for easiest access.

What an unexpected pleasure! Beautiful building, wide variety of pieces, and well maintained. Excellent for adults but younger children may struggle. I stopped in on a whim without researching what was inside, very impressed. Best part, it was free! Must see in the area!

This was my 1st time to anywhere in Cleveland. I really enjoyed this museum. For the most part you could walk right up to whatever you wanted to look at very few times did I have to wait in line. There was a very large variety of art and history they had displayed which I appreciated and kept me interested along with displaying alot of fun facts I got to read and learn about. FYI Security will not let you take a bookbag with you they will make you check it into there closet in the front entrance.

I have not been here since I was in elementary school. I remember it being smaller with a few rooms. That place is huge! It is very clean and very well maintained. It now has a restaurant and a store. There is also a park- like setting indoors. I recommend, just include comfortable walking shoes.

The Cleveland Museum of Art is a true masterpiece, both architecturally and artistically. I visited, and it left an indelible impression on me.

First and foremost, the museum's collection is breathtaking. It's a journey through time and diverse cultures, with a remarkable array of art spanning from ancient civilizations to contemporary works. The quality and variety of the pieces on display are astounding, and there's something to captivate every art lover. Whether you're into classical paintings, sculptures, or modern art, this museum has it all.

The architecture of the museum is a work of art in itself. The beautifully designed building combines classic and modern elements, and it's a pleasure to explore. The atrium, in particular, is a stunning space that provides a sense of openness and grandeur, making it an ideal backdrop for the incredible art within.

The staff and curators are knowledgeable and passionate about the art, and their enthusiasm is infectious. You'll find yourself learning about the pieces and their historical context as you explore, which enhances the overall experience.

Additionally, the museum offers a wealth of educational resources, from guided tours to interactive exhibits, making it a great place for families and students. The museum also hosts special exhibitions that provide fresh perspectives on art and culture.

Conveniently located in University Circle, it's easy to access and pairs well with other nearby attractions like the botanical gardens and the Cleveland Orchestra. Parking is a breeze, and the on-site restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a view of the museum's beautiful grounds.

In conclusion, The Cleveland Museum of Art is a cultural treasure that offers an enriching experience for art enthusiasts and curious minds alike. It's a place where you can lose yourself in the beauty of art and history. If you find yourself in Cleveland, this museum is a must-visit destination.

We didn't go inside. We were outside around the grounds for our family photos. It was awesome. It was homecoming dance night for some because several students were there taking photos. Next time, we must go inside because outside is beautiful

Pillaging and looting, theft and debauchery is what you specialise in; repatriate art back to where it belongs you charlatans.
