The Crate Escape reviews
10I am amazed what a good job she did on my Westie. She has my business. I refered my sister to get her dog groomed. I was pleased how quickly we got quick appt too.
Our dog Ranger loves his visits to the Crate Escape! He gets to solocialize and even gets groomed if we choose. Obviously, very loving, caring owners and staff.
I took my dog here two times for grooming because my other groomer, Petco wasn't doing grooming any longer. The first time, I was disgusted by the absolute stench of urine the moment I walked in the door, but didn't want to judge too quickly. The grooming of my dog was okay; however, when I went to pick her up, I walked in the door to the left because I could hear my dog whining and then saw she was on the table attached to the top by a leash and was all by herself. Had she attempted to jump off the table because she heard me talking when I arrived, she would have hung herself. Absolutely no human being was in the room with her. I almost didn't go back based on the this experience alone, however, I gave them another chance and after the second encounter decided this will be the last time I go there. Just felt like my dog wasn't getting proper care while away from me. Months have passed and I no longer go here. I don't like to give companies bad reviews especially since I was only there two times. But now, I have heard several stories of bad experiences. In April 2022 I heard of a 3 year old St. Bernard dog that died while in there care for multiple days. This is extremely concerning and I think people should know. I'm glad people have good experiences with The Crate Escape, but people should know about the bad ones as well.
My dog loves going to this place! She gets a lot of exercise and is always ready to get to bed when getting home.
I finally found a place where I feel happy to leave my dogs to play while I go out of town!
Great care and staff does an amazing job! You never have to worry about your pet with April, and come home tired at the end of a work day! And your fur baby will have great social skills better then people!
They took great care of our Saul for the weekend. Came home fresh and clean. Will definitely use them again!
Great place to let your dogs get some exercise and socialization. Also great grooming at fabulous pricing.
HARD TO DEFINE, I WANT TO GIVE A+
Big metal barn where dogs romp, sniff and run around freely. Vet history required. The dogs have a rollicking good time. Employees are mostly hard working dog lovers who do everything owners want. They will transport your pet in Crate Escape Bus (cute). Baths, meals. Or, you can do that.
It’s impossible to hire enough “referees” and make expenses - or how many dogs are too many when mine needs a place to be? I always want the best at minimum cost - but the most reliable people are expensive.
The Crate Escape does an excellent balancing act. It’s not perfect, just a little crazy and very good for most dogs.
Dropped our dogs off for a few days. One dog had a bloody nose and bloody elbows from laying on concrete. If you want your babies to lay on concrete while you're on vacation, bring them here.
