Awesome service, nice people and very fast and attentive. This is both at the bar, standing bar or seating.

We have visited the Crush House many times but it probably has been about 6 months since our last visit, and things have changed! VERY limited menu, only 4 entree options really (unless you want linguini or a sandwich).

We waited over an hour and 20 mins, and finally settled on sitting at the bar. The bartender (male) was far from busy yet the service we received felt very bare minimum. Took over 10 mins to approach us and offer to take our order, no specials were ever told to us, and just felt like an overall inconvenience to his evening.

Good quality was good and presented well— which is why I didn’t leave a complete 1 star.

For a location such as Gervasi, I expected much more than the experience we had. I’m not sure if it was a fluke night but based on the menu offerings alone, I don’t foresee us visiting again.

Yea gorgeous is a good word. Food was good, not exceptional. See images including menu. You are seeing Chicken Piccata, Pasta Bolognese, Italian Chicken Napoleon, Seafood Chitarra and Not-so-good Cheesecake

I've gone to the Crush House numerous times over the years since it has opened. It has typically been a good experience. The food seemed fairly priced and the menu was very diverse. My personal favorite was the Spicy Beef Short rib and the Wings.

However, post COVID seems to paint a very different picture or at least some point in the past 2-3 years. The menu has been drastically reduced and all of what I thought were the "exceptional" items have been removed. You're now met with a small list of entrees and some very off putting appetizers (in my opinion). I ended up getting a grilled chicken wrap though it wouldn't typically be my first choice. It was honestly pretty good but I don't know that I'd get it again as it's really not the type of food I expected. Service is fairly decent as well. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable.not much more to say there.

I will say the thing that sent me over the edge though was the "Credit processing fee" that they charge you for using a credit card. I find this to be completely unacceptable. Accepting cards is a price of doing business and I actively avoid any business that puts this off on their customers. Gervasi is clearly doing well for themselves but feels the need to charge me the 2.5%? That's just wrong and really kicks dirt in the face of the customer. Honestly it's quite greedy. This place isn't overpriced but it's absolutely not cheap either.

Overall the food is fine but it has clearly gone down hill over the past few years. Maybe you'll have a different experience based on your tastes but between the "lesser" menu and charging fees for credit cards I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Edit: I corrected the fee amount as i wrote the wrong one. However I think that credit fees are a cost of doing business and with the way that society has shifted to credit cards it's still insulting to charge that fee. I'm not sure where Gervasi has seen these fees being charged but its few and far between.

Overall, the Crush House at Gervasi delivers a good dining experience. Tasty food and delicious wine. The menu was full of options to fit everyone’s taste. The Crush House is billed as a more casual experience than The Bistro, but they do not hold back.

We sat outside and enjoyed the weather, views and food. The portions were perfect for lunch. I would have liked a little bread to go with the food, but it is a small thing,

The wait was extremely long, over an hour and 1/2. The service isn't as good as you would expect. The food is superior. I had gnocchi and short rib, unbelievable. The salad was not included in the meal. The wine is excellent, although a little pricy. The waitress gave me the wrong check, not a big deal, but it should not have happened.

Usually excellent service. Because of surgery, we ordered carry out. My husband returned twice to receive everything that was ordered and payed for. Special request was ignored.
Surprisingly disappointing.

The service is great
The happy hour prices and drink selection is great.
The food entrees were mediocre
I will not go there again just for dining.

Now I've enjoyed the 4th of your venues!
Like the others, the staff was friendly & knowledgeable and each of our different food choices disappeared right before our eyes.
Wish I lived closer.

8/22:
11 friends & I celebrated my 80th birthday in the private room.
Lauren (Loren?) was great - efficient & attentive.
(The food was good too! LOL)

Tucked into the heart of Ohio miles from the football hall of fame. Stay for the day or night you will feel transported to another land.

Our first experience at Gervaci and the Crush House was incredible! The food was absolutely amazing and their wines are fantastic! Our server, Taylor, was simply the best! She was knowledgeable, had a great personality, was attentive while still allowing us to take our time and was just an overall pleasure. Would highly recommend the Crush House and suggest asking for Taylor to take care of you. We were very pleased with our first experience and we will be back!

My steak was cooked to perfection with mushrooms and green beans, delicious! Friendly staff, great wine, and don't skip dessert. The teramusi is the best

Well, a 2-hour wait for food when you aren't even busy, is kind of unacceptable. Especially considering the people that got there after us, were done eating before we ever got our food. We were a table of two, as were they. The price would be worth it if the food was anything other than mediocre. I have not had a decent experience here since before Covid. Perhaps the entire staff is new and inexperienced? You'd think that they would have at least experienced eating at a restaurant or "being a human" before. Apparently not so much. Every aspect of Gervasi has gone downhill the past two years. For some reason, the same pretentious, middle-class patrons seem to flock here as if it's an event. For me, it's just dinner. I would like warm, edible, and maybe even within the same hour or two that I'm seated.

Highly recommend! Matthew is a fabulous waiter and human. He takes time to make you feel welcome and explain everything. He also doesn't rush you. Our experience was at our leisure. I had the Moscato which may very well be the best sweet wine I've had to date. Our food was phenomenal all around. We sat outside. It was warm and breezy. The flowers next to our table were in bloom and visited by butterflies. Definitely make a stop here!
