The Echelon of Medina

I moved my uncle into the Echelon today! We were “that family” moving in on a weekend (a holiday weekend at that) and I cannot believe how accommodating their team was! Everything was super clean and ready to go in the apartment, the receptionist went ABOVE and beyond to help us with zero complaints or attitude (all day), the residents were all SO happy and coming to the apartment to say hello (one even brought a flower). In my uncles apartment was a schedule on the counter letting him know when the meals would be and such- and while it seems small the super cute gift bag with goodies made his whole day (especially the cute coffee mug). The apartment is gorgeous! Prior to the move-in Adam was super helpful and so accommodating. I feel super blessed that my uncle is at the echelon!

Dear Adam and all the staff at the Echelon in Medina Independent Living Facility,

I wanted to share our gratitude and review of our experience while our mother lived there. The Echelon is a wonderful family like community. We were greeted by residents with smiles and introductions from many on day one. The owners care. The staff cares and you can feel it. The residents are kind, fun, and bring a beautiful spirit to the Echelon. They have many amenities from fitness classes, to a pool, gym, restaurant like kitchen with a specialty diets. It is Safe and well kept. Feels like a Beautiful hotel that you don’t want to leave. The Suite our mother lived in was perfect for her. The transportation service and Cheryl were the best. The front Desk were always so kind and courteous. Everyone was helpful. The price was comparable to other places that were not as nice.

My mother only lived there from April 2023 to September until her passing in Octobe but her short time there she was on 3 committees her most favorite was the potluck! She made friends with many of the residents and staff during her time there.

We thank Adam and all the staff who embraced our mother Lucille. She loved all of you and you made last months so very special. We could not have asked for a better place for her to call home.

I would highly recommend Echelon for someone who is looking for a place for there loved one for independent living. They also have a skilled facility as well. The Echelon is always top of my recommendation list! Thank you again for giving our mother a wonderful place to live in her final days. Our family is grateful that a place like the Echelon exists because we searched and we found the Echelon had something special others didn’t. Bless all of you at the Echelon and the staff.

We looked for a long time to find a place we would be comfortable with for dad. Echelon checked off all of our boxes, cleanliness, therapy dog visits, events, atmosphere, a variety of people and a program which includes day trips and activities.
The employees are all very nice and caring people which adds to your peace of mind. If you are looking for a place for dad or mom put Echelon on your short list and pay them a visit.

Amazing care provided to the members. Owners who truly care about the members of the community as well as all of their staff.

Excellent place! They have been taking great care of my mother! The building is beautiful like a 5 star resort!

Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Both the Independent and Assisted living are beautiful and organized.

I work at the Echelon of Medina, and It’s really a great place to be! Getting to know my fellow staff, and the residents along with their families, is so rewarding! The atmosphere here helps create a comfortable work environment. Everyone will welcome you with open arms, a smile and some laughs! There’s no better place to work!

The Echelon facility presents such a positive, caring, and warm environment for their patrons. It is so wonderful to see elders have such fun with the different activities they plan for them. They make certain they feel important and provide friends and a family-like situation for all of them. This would be one of the 1st places I would consider when in need of permanent help. We are blessed to have such an establishment providing a loving home for our loved ones.

I recently worked a event here! All staff were very nice and the residents really enjoyed the entertainment! Looking forward to going back to visit.

I toured Echelon. It all looked nice until I walked into the memory care section that they suggested I put my mother into. It strongly reeked of urine. Carpets were very dirty. Maybe the carpeting in the hallway should have flooring instead? Sorry, that was such a huge turn off for me!

I worked with Jessica, the Activities Director, to have one of the Mohs surgeons from Apex Skin Dermatology come in and give an educational presentation on Skin Cancer and Skin Care for Aging Skin. It was apparent that the residents are were truly interested in learning more about this topic. Afterwards, I noticed a wine tasting social in their beautiful bistro. It's wonderful they have someone who can arrange a wide variety of activities for the residents to attend and enjoy! Very friendly environment.

Beautiful facility with a great team! Warm. Inviting. Clean. Both independent and assisted living. Non-stop activities of a wide variety. Highly recommended.

After they were told my family member vomited in her room, several days later the vomit was still all over the cabinet (I kept photos). We were lied to twice regarding billing. Example: Told would not be charged for April if out by 3/30. Went back on their word and charged for half of April. Needless to say, I would never recommend this business. If you read the 5-star employee reviews, they sound suspiciously similar.

I'm a vendor and make stops at many assisted living communities in the area.
This is the most personable staff I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
Management, and staff are truly all about the residents.
One employee, Mark, knew every resident by name and they were always happy just when he walked in

Jessica Hine is an excellent silver sneakers instructor! She appropriately challenges us to keep moving & exercising while making it as fun as possible. We laugh & smile all through the classes, while working hard to help keep ourselves healthy. She is the best exercise instructor I have ever had.

I LOVE this class! This cardio class is fast-paced and able to be modified to the person's individual needs and abilities. There is a happy and friendly attitude in the room, and everyone is very supportive and fun. Jessica leads us with excitement, encouragement, and skill. I look forward to coming to every class.
