The Exchange Buy-Sell-Trade reviews
14I always love The Exchange and have been to several locations. This one in particular had some pretty cool stuff including some HTF Funco Pops, music, and older video games. You never know what you're gonna find. I always recommend taking a look, especially if you enjoy pop culture nostalgia from the 1990's on.
I love the exchange. But before I buy a horror film on DVD, ill check Ebay for a cheaper one. If its not cheaper then I'll buy it. I use the exchange to take photos of movies I need then find them online for cheaper.
When I sell games, 4 sealed Xbox one games for $4. Luckily I sold them on eBay for $10 each. I'm not complaining since the Exchange is basically a pawn shop. They buy cheap to sell for more.
Check online for what you want before you buy there's is all that's to it. I do get VHS tapes though. Niceee.
My son and I enjoy going here to see what they have in there stock. Plus my son sold his old Nintendo switch and some games to them. So yes we really like their customer service and their items that they have for sell.
It's been a while since I've been in an Exchange. They have definitely changed some. They were quite busy. Every shopper I encountered was pleased they found what they were looking for. I'll be going back so I can check out the posters.
Decent little place, the have lots of comics, vinyl, video games and electronics. Trade most of it for cash or store credit. I gave only 4 stars because while I understand that they are trying to turn a profit their trade value is a bit low. My Fiancé traded in a few games and it was 90$ store credit vs $60 cash.
The worst Exchange out of all their locations. We recently moved to the area and I was extremely dissatisfied with their service and quality of product. Walking around the store, there seems to be very little used product besides a small selection of older games, and an overwhelming amount of DVDs no one is buying anymore. Their floor staff is very helpful and kind, the issue is behind the counter. You cannot get anyone’s attention unless asking, and they have lack of focus when it comes to their trades. Their employees will sit behind the counter and talk while trying to tackle the largest trade before the ones that came in in chronological order. If you ask about the status of your trade, they get irritable. Out of the 5 times I have been in, I have never been greeted. Overall just a very unwelcoming environment. I believe I caught the name of the employee that was the most rude, Joe. Every time I am in the store I am unfortunate enough to have to deal with him. He is rude, and has been wishy washy with their trade, transfer, and buying policy. If you’re going to visit an Exchange in the area, make the drive to Parma or Lakewood. You will have a better selection and be treated properly in a normal customer service environment.
Phenomenal staff very clean greeting counter space ratings 5 stars for overall store visit experience
Visited Great Cuts. I forgot the hairdresser's name, but goes by "T. " Great attitude, service, great cut and advice on hair products. Amazing price. Will return there.
Went here to make a trade in for a game system, which one took almost an hour. Second, they quoted a price which was literally robbery. When I declined, they tried to keep my games, and took my usb cord for my controller. Literally the pettiest experience, with shady workers. Count me out
They have all the things you would want from the past. Plus the customer service is great and very helpful too.
Amazing place! I always get everything and even more what I want for my children. Recommended 100%
I've loved this place since the first time I ever visited one. I used to go to the one in Kent, now the steelyards. I remember the one on warrensville road, shows my age, I suppose, lol. Highly recommend
I love the exchange. However I can't say I am a fan of this location. I worked there for three weeks and I was slowly learning the process of the day to day duties. I was let go due to me misreading the schedule and I came into work at the wrong time. But honestly, I felt a very uneasy energy there when I worked. As if I made everyone uncomfortable or something. I haven't worked customer service in years so I needed to warm up to answer the phones, finding items, etc. But it just seemed like everytime I had a question, I was annoying them. I ask a lot of questions, that's how some people learn. I made one mistake, due to my hectic college schedule and they dropped me. No warnings or write ups, they just can you. Honestly I think they just wanted me gone lol. But I will continue to support Exchange, but I'm not crazy about this location. Also, the Inventory is awesome!
