The Gutter Boys, Canal Winchester OH

I had an extremely negative experience with The Gutter Boys. I paid $190 for a standard gutter cleaning. During the gutter cleaning, the employee took apart one of my downspouts. I thought nothing of it, and if anything thought he was being very thorough.

However, during the next rain, I walked the perimeter of my house and noticed the downspout that was taken apart was leaking (see attached photo). I had to reach out to the Gutter Boys and Shandale Johnson (the Regional Manager) for a follow up visit multiple times before they sent someone back out.

During the follow up visit, the second employee admitted the first employee didn’t hook up the downspout correctly after cleaning and ensured he corrected the issue. However, the downspout is still leaking.

When I reached back out to the Gutter Boys, they told me the down spout would need replaced and the cleaning “uncovered a prior issue”. I find this a very convenient excuse as there was no issue prior to them cleaning my gutters and the first employee who literally took the downspout apart didn’t mention an issue. Now they’re trying to charge me an additional fee to fix. So basically, I’m out $190 and will have to pay another company to come out and correct. I’m feeling ripped off, as other reviewers have felt and do not recommend the Gutter Boys!

The guys arrived early, worked hard all day and finished cleaning up just before dark. A really great job and they weren’t too upset when our dog ate one of their sandwiches.

Left me a VM that he would be late. No other messages were left. He never showed up. No f/u call.

Gutters and downspouts look good, job was done quickly. Only issue was I picked up a few screws in my driveway.

We met with Samantha and she was great and told all about their product and what to expect. The install crew was also great and got our gutter replacement done relatively quickly. The people are great, the price was great and the install was great. Our house looks so much nicer. Thanks Gutter Boys.

Did a fantastic job replacing my front gutters. I had some doubts when I wasn't able to contact them sometimes by phone in the middle of the day. I understand they have lunch times, but through the whole day? And they seem more engaging when it comes to emailing their customers rather than talking on the phone. May just be my case with the branch I dealt with.

BUT, they do fulfill their jobs professionally and as scheduled. From a lot of jobs I've seen in the Columbus area, this is rare. I see myself doing business with them again in the future!

Our windows were filthy and now they are spotless! They did such a good job. Very polite and professional.

Professionalism at its best! Very attentive to the needs of their customers. Should any problems arise there are no hesitations in fixing them. Highly recommend.

These gentlemen were amazing showed up on time and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. I only used them for the cleaning but will be using them again for gutters. Strongly recommend these guys!

We tried the new window cleaning service offered from the Gutter Boys and we could not be more impressed! We have awful water and I was worried that cleaning our windows would just leave them spotty and gross but that was not the case! They brought their own tank and the technology of the scrub brush cleaned the sashes as well! I am thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be utilizing this service on a semi-annual basis! The crew gave me a thirty minute heads up and arrived on time. I couldn’t get my screens out and they came in and removed all of them without hesitation and put them all back in! Wow! They cleaned out my gutters for the 2nd time. Their pricing is very reasonable and they do a great job. I love the fact they have subscriptions now as I've never understood why my gutter cleaners couldn't just come multiple times per year on a schedule. Well now I have it! Thank you!

They only cleaned the outside windows, plus they enhanced two roof downspouts using spare parts from their truck.

Got a quote and scheduled a 10 day window for a gutter cleaning and they never showed or called. Go with a professionally run company instead of this clown show. We went with Affordable Gutter Cleaners and they actually communicated well and did the scheduled service.
