The Habesha Garden Restaurant, Columbus OH

Good food. Though we prefer the taste of other Ethiopian places, we still come back because this one is less out of the way. But, carry out orders take a lot longer than they predict. Both times we've ordered, they estimated 25-30 minutes, and it actually took about 50 minutes. So be sure to order plenty in advance.

If you come here, you come to fight with customer service. I asked the lady to bring Double black label. I told 2 times. She brought me black label. I asked her "Is it double black label? " She said "Said if you like drink unlike you can go out " worst customer service I have ever seen.

We arrived very late and the kitchen was closed (kitchen closes at 10pm on Friday), but the staff was very polite and apologetic. The bar and dining room looked good (clean, nice decor). Will have to come by earlier next time!

The food was great. Our server was very sweet and made sure we were taken care of. I had lamb, and my husband had steak. Both were really good.

Almost a dive bar (in a good way) with great food. Very authentic, our table was the only one speaking English. Friendly atmosphere with recommendation for an Ethiopian beer from other patrons.

've been to this Ethiopian restaurant a few times now, and I've always been impressed with the food. The flavors are complex and delicious. However, the service is another story. It can take a very long time to get your food, even if the restaurant isn't very busy. I've waited over 45min to an hour for my food on more than one occasion.
Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant to people who are looking for good Ethiopian food. Just be prepared to be patient.

The food here was incredible but it was not worth the half an hour wait that me and my family had to go thru, the service was terrible as they only had one guy do EVERYTHING for everyone, and if you have to choice to go to another Ethiopian restaurant please go there and save yourselves the stress.

The food was great but the service wasn’t good. The lady waitress was belittling her co-worker and he was very calm at the whole time she was calling him all kind of names. This was my first time and last time going. I wish the owner sees this and helps that poor guy.

Wonderful, fresh authentic Ethiopian food. Great atmosphere for kids. Very friendly staff and service was speedy. The restaurant is clean and has a great selection of dishes.

Best experience here. Great atmosphere. Not only Ethiopians dine in here. Everyone goes there to taste the deliciousness of variety of foods.
