The Home Depot, Chardon OH

Haven't been in the Home Depot in Ohio yet, but I doubt you can go wrong shopping here.

I have to share this evenings experience in the flooring department at the Chardon location. I arrived to purchase some special order hardwood flooring. I had several questions and I found Elizabeth (Flooring specialist) I discussed what I wanted and she was so helpful in making sure we ordered the right flooring including a few extras I had forgotten. She also helped me to open an account which gave me $100.00 off.

It has been a long time since I have met an actual sales person that knew their products and gave great service. I hope Home Depot appreciates Elizabeths commitment to her work and that she genuinely wants to help each customer make there projects successful. I will be returning to work with her in the future and you are in need of flooring, I would suggest visiting her at the Chardon Home Depot.

Still not a big fan of this store, cashiers very friendly but everyone else there sucks- it’s almost impossible to get assistance, Streetsboro & Chardon way more helpful, and this was like this pre-Covid

Had everything I needed and staff was eager and at the ready to assist, even had a couple additional products in store (not shown online) which better suited my needs. In and out within ten minutes, will be back again, will recommend.

You have to love being able to visit 3 different stores in your area online. I was looking for treated wood step stringers. Each store online tells you if it is in stock and how many are in stock.
So I was able to go to the Ashtabula Home Depot and purchase my stringers, and as you know you have to sift through lumber to get a good product.

Had to literally walk a mile to get something from garden center and then to front checkout. They were too short staffed to have someone man the garden register but 3 checkout girls standing around talking at front register. And they wonder why no one likes to shop there!? !? !

Easy to find what I’m looking for and they always have everything I need in stock. If I come alone I always have someone follow me and ask me if I need help (which is very nice don’t get me wrong) but if I come with my dad or a guy I am never approached.

Nice store, interacted with 3 employees, all helpful, got what I wanted and had a quick checkout. Can't ask for more than that!

It's 2021. We're 18+ months into a global pandemic. It's still not possible to make a mobile payment (via phone) at Home Despot.
I will not shop where I cannot make a contactless payment.

I handed my items to the useless person babysitting the self checkout, then only option for checkout, and left.

Additionally, the employees were either talking amongst themselves, standing in the entrance, or not being helpful at the registers.

I went to Menards, where I can pay with my phone, and found the same item for about 25% less. I also get 11% back in a rebate from Menards.

Just say, "NO! " to Home Despot.

Nice and clean but no help. Plus you have yo walk in one door and only out another door and it's the length of the store. Hortible. I'm handicap and my car was at door I came in and as almost didnt make it. Too far. Wont go back until they resolve this.

The store was very clean. The employees are helpful. Although they did not have what I wanted they tried to help me find a substitute which was not available.

This is the best Home Depot by far in NE Ohio! Being in the trades I shop at Home Depot stores around the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton area on a daily basis and the staff at this Home Depot are far superior to all other stores in this area (especially Lowe’s)

There are many helpful people working there but sometimes it's difficult to find someone who is not already helping other people. Especially on weekends.

Veteran friendly. It offers veterans parking and discounts. It will always come in handy. It treats it's military and veterans and their families very well.

Pretty straight forward place. When I asked for help they actually guided me there and showed me my choices of what I was looking for.

Such a huge store when you are trying to find something but someone always stops to see if we need help. My favorite fixer upper store

The worst experience of online ordering that I have ever experienced! Order a tent-like shed in which I used a $500 gift card and the other $119 on a card.order canceled and I reordered, after a week longer than promised I went to the store to pick up a 1,000 pound 110 piece box. Took 4 people to get out of truck and 4 hours to unpack all the pieces. It was the wrong product from the wrong manufacturer.heavy and many pieces. Called, they will only refund with gift card after I return the product, really, completely horrible experience and I willnever shop there again

Absolutely hated making an appointment for an estimate for carpet installation! Charged me 35.00 and was a nightmare to even get it scheduled! I had called Empire and it took 3 minutes and was free and they are coming exactly when I asked! Home Depot is a nightmare beyond words! Wish I hadn't even given them a call, also we were going to buy all new appliances with Home Depot and re thinking that!

I couldn't find any zucchini or cucumber plants to start my garden this year. They had so many tomato plant choices though.
