The Home Depot, Newark OH

Aside from the small trailer/commercial parking area, this store has everything you need, including a staff that is relatively knowledgeable and helpful by post-COVID standards.

I got a great deal on flowers. Rose bushes was half off. Even told a few friends about there sale.

Friendly, professional, organized customer services. Im a self contractor, I mainly do drywall related jobs, and for a year home depot is the only store I shop at for materials.

Horrible! The common sense days are over. Anything, I mean anything customer service is a joke. After circle-jerking with they robot line for half an hour with the depot-phone robot I realized I am back were I started. NOWHERE. They (as in a worthless robot) actually transfered me to a human. So I thought.the never answered the fickin' phone! Word of advice, it was faster to drive 22 miles one way, than ask a simple question. I will be avoiding home Depot from here on our. Moving forward, the actual one person customer service suck at the store too. It took me less time to drive there and write this review when all I needed was a two line question and 5minutes. Booo giving just 1star was to much!

Always friendly customer service and helpful. Always have what I need and what I don't, lol.

As always, I enjoyed spending with The Home Depot today, with great staff and a super clean environment, who would want to shop anywhere else. Always that way and I appreciate that very much. Thanks again.

No one asks to help you! Service people standing around on their phones. Disappointing. Only one young man in the lumber area ask if he could help us. Thankful for that.

Please teach employees to make eye contact, and tell you that they can help, instead of staring into space and waiting for the customer to ask, "can you help me". You're at a register for a reason, dude. It's called your JOB. My service at the service center was such a joke today I'll shop elsewhere.

Go in to buy Deck boards after spending thousands… and they can’t have someone bring the boards down for hours that I need. Then I ask for a refund and that can’t get enough cash to give me my refund. I will never go back to Home Depot Again.

Good place to shop for most of your needs. They mostly have everything from paper towels to power tools to lawn and gardening. Getting help is a little tough sometimes, but they try.

They had 10ft boards in the spot for 12ft and I didn’t double check them before getting home so now they’ve wasted my time, gas for another trip and set me even farther back on my project. Clearly poor management and careless employees.

5/3/2023 11: 39 am. Work for multi million dollar nation wide company with Home Depot account and was accused of not paying for 8 pieces of weather stripping because Mr. Security at self checkout didn't see me scan with his own eyes while he was talking with other employee. He ask if I bought these as I said yes that I don't steal and proceeded to count and wanted to see my receipt. Very rude. I will not go back to that home Depot and will tell other employees of our business. Glad we have Lowes account.

Recently bought a new refrigerator here. Mike, the salesperson absolutely failed to mention that in order for our new fridge to be dropped off and installed, a water shutoff valve must be on the same floor and within 6 feet of the fridge. We only found this out when the delivery guys told us. We rearranged work schedules to make sure we would be home during the super vague delivery window. Apparently, this is the policy of Home Depot and not the delivery/install crew. Mike never mentioned it (I'll assume deliberately) and nothing we received from Home Depot stated this. Because of our lost wages and not getting what we paid for because of some hidden policy, I will never buy another appliance or anything that might need installed from Home Depot again.

Hard to get help in certain areas because they have to find the right person so you may have to wait a bit if you have questions or want to schedule a service. We got carpet installed in our home through them and I have no complaints about the installation. They did a wonderful job and I'm very pleased with the price.

Very good store and staff. They treat us well. They appreciate military vets also! Thank you!

The workers are helpful and kind. I have a service animal and they are very respectful of that

I felt that the guy I asked where something was annoyed because I asked him where a very small part was, his reply was if we have it it will be in this row and kept on talking he had no interest in showing me where it was. Again a very small part can be hard to find sometime. But this is an issue in every Home Depot I go into.
