The Home Depot RDC reviews
19How hard is it to check people in? Here for a few hours now. I guess they're doing background checks on every driver. Come here with full hours or suffer the consequences.
OTR have been here several times, but this delivery took 3.5 hours from the entrance. MAJOR BACKUP - No explanation given. Once at gate we could not drop there, was sent to another drop yard + look for MT which was NOT there. BE WARNED! YOU WILL WAIT FOR HOURS if del week of 8-24 to 8-28 of 2020!
Checking in is really slow, I dropped and hooked so can't say anything about live load/unloading. I was able to take a 30 min break in the check in line, took about 1 hour and a half just to get to the guard shack
Been there twice in 2 weeks
Getting in the gate there is ridiculous. Took 3+ hrs one time and I had to return the next day on the other. Do not go here if you're short on hours the place is the worst.
FYI they will make you drop the loaded trailer at a different location and then pickup a empty trailer at a 3rd location and of course no pay for all the run around
Super long line to check in. It took over 3 hours to just do a super simple drop & hook. Very inefficient check in process.
Seems to me once your order makes it to Monroe, OH it sits for several days before it is forward on to the store. Took longer to get from OH RDC to the WV Store than it did from TX to OH. Both pieces were delayed and late by several days.
Yard jockey was driving aggressively in the yard, cut me off, then began to swear at me, effectively blaming me for his careless driving.
My biggest issue with the HDDC is the time it sometimes takes to ingate. If you are far enough back in line you could literally wait hours getting to the guard shack
Guards are cool. Other than that there are alot of rats at this place. Jb hunt and yard dogs will go on power trip mode then get scared and tell on you or call police. Drver be careful here i think theres something in the water other thaan that in and out drop & hook.
It was busy as a 3 pe*****d goat. Otherwise, went and got my load, drop and hook, and got out quickly.
That's only on the main road
It's another 10-12 trucks in the entrance waiting to be ingated. The check in security are nice people but very slow at what they do. It takes 10-20 minutes for 1 truck to ingate
The guards here are rude idiots. Home Depot needs to hire better more qualified professional asset protection services instead of a bunch of rude high school dropouts. I hope you fools in security suffer when summer heat comes around and make minimum wage. Home Depot is a good company but the guy who worked security at this location was straight up rude with an attitude that needs adjustment. Hopefully they reprimand him one day. If you are supposed to pick up an empty trailer here just do yourself a favor and skip here and go straight to the drop yard.
It's a shame every customer can't be a simple drop and hook like this place and places like it.
24/7. In and out in 15 minutes.
Was a fun visit for me. Wouldn't mind visiting again. This isn't a store for anyone else who isn't an associate of Home Depot. It's a Regional DC with no area for customers, unless of course you're a trucker and need to drop a trailer. Then this is the place for you.
Drop and hook for me, sometimes the mt trailers are at their offsite yard. Yard can get pretty hectic sometimes. Generally friendly security.
Pretty fast drop but made me go off-site to get an empty and was quite a fiasco. Guys in the Depot yard were nice though.
The people are RUDE if everyone it's that unhappy then what kind of place is Home Depot. I will never deal with them anymore. I drive by a Home Depot to go to Lowe's
