The Honey Baked Ham Company reviews
16 The best ham God has put on this Earth.
Pricey but well worth it.
Just learned about the chicken salad.
A must try, delicious!
The honey mustard is good too.
Anne the supervisor or whatever she is, was very rude to her staff, embarrassed the young lady that was checking me out. The cashier was great but Anne was very very rude!
Picked up my prepaid order today and stood in a line that was basically out the door. There was only one person working in that line and 3 others helping walk in customers. Lexi was working hard to get through that long prepaid line while the other 3 employees did not think to help her and seemed to ignore the complaints coming from the customers. Asked for the manager who was out to lunch. A big thank you to Lexi for her hard work and excellent attitude!
I had mistakingly ordered from wrong store my bad but cashier (very nice and pleasant) told me to just cancel the other one. I asked her if she had number or could call for me. She said I could call. Manager chimed in and said I can call myself. Then telling her “you know that is not how we do that here. ” You don’t degrade a cashier or subordinate in front of a customer. Hence no other customer in the store. Store manager was a guy that needs customer service etiquette as he was very rude. After years of going to that store I will never buy from there again. Five stars are for the cashier, the manager gets zero stars so three star post.
I rarely write reviews but felt it necessary to counter some of the negative reviews I have seen. First time every going to honey baked ham and the employee who helped me was wonderful! It was very hectic inside (a couple days before Xmas) and she still answered all of my questions with patience and sincere kindness. I believe her name was Ann (apologies if I’ve misspelled that). Everything was pretty clear as far as where to go if you had already paid or if you needed to pay at register, yet many customers were in the wrong lines. There was signage right as you walked through the door. I’m not sure what others have experienced, but my experience was phenomenal. Ann deserves a pay raise! Not a thank you and gift card, a pay raise.
Obviously the hams, but seriously, go in and get a sandwich. Easily one of the top 5 sandwiches I've ever had.
A couple got in another line in the store and went right up to the counter, the lady in front of me who had been waiting and myself said we had been waiting before they arrived. The “all white” workers became visibly annoyed that we spoke up to the white customer Also was told they were out of ham slices and I they were open on today Sunday at 9: 00am. I asked twice about them being open on Sunday, they’re closed.
I've gone to this location for the past few years for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I don't eat pork but absolutely love their smoked turkey breast. It is the best I've ever had and way better than Boars Head brand. It comes pre-sliced with the the honey baked signature glaze. I suggest placing order online via pre-pay or reservation during the holidays. Also, the lines are long during those times too. The staff is patient and friendly.
Their hams are amazing! They are pricey but worth it. The line goes incredibly fast if you happen to show up the day before Easter like I did.

Great caring and attentive workers. I was not having the greatest day and the manager lend an ear and showed he cared. They have awesome ham sandwiches, obviously. Actually everything they have is amazing and delicious.
I've been going to HoneyBaked Ham for 20 years they have the best glaze in the world as far as I'm concerned and their ham is not too bad either keep up the good work honey baked ham doing a great job see you at Easter
Ham is not the same quality. Salty & barely any glazing. Discriminate against white customers. I witnessed black customers being able to purchase more than 1 of the ham slices packet during Easter week. They were suppose to limited to 1 per customer. But I noticed the rule was only enforced to white customers while standing in line.
Picked up 9: 30am on 12/22. Small crowd, but was fast & efficient. Probably last time ordering a Honey Baked Ham. For 8 to 10 people it was $68! But, I just had a craving for it. The sides are also expensive for the size. Courteous customer service at the Willoughby location.
Honey Baked Ham is still the only spiral ham that melts on your tongue, which keeps it number one in my opinion.
Last year I was disappointed with their ham so they issued me a gift card. I went to use it and it said I had 0 balance. Well I didn't use it. Thanks for issuing me a gift card with 0 balance.
Prepaid for the hams and arranged a specific time to pick them up, but there was a line out the door for prepaid orders. There was no line for the order as you go. There were three people taking orders and only one person for prepaid orders. It was not very well organized, but the staff was friendly, hence the three stars.
