I spent more than a year and a half at The Jeffrey and couldn’t have loved it more. The location is fantastic, and the quality of the apartments is next to none. The gated parking is a huge plus for a downtown apartment. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating to whatever issues you have come up! I was able to find a house to purchase, but was still sad to finally move out.

I am sad to leave Jeffrey Park (The Legacy 2018 - 2020 & The Foundry 2015 - 2018). Unfortunately, I had to vacate my apartment because of a second contract with the Army. This review is 100% honest and from me. I have been living in Italian Village since 2015 from the Foundry and the Legacy. I have enjoyed both the Foundry and the Legacy. The leasing staff (I will miss the staff) is exceptionally top-notch as well as maintenance. I know I should be back end of summer, and I will be moving right back to Jeffrey Park. I highly recommend living here, quiet, best location, walking distance to Short North, very safe. BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK IN THIS UPSCALE COMMUNITY!

Great location and unique apartments, but management (Tammy) response time is very poor.if you get a response at all.

Walls are very thin and echoey. Often I could hear my neighbors conversations and sound from their TV. Majority of the gym equipment is pretty much useless as well.

This is a great building in a great location. The building has a lot of history, and has been excellently renovated for modern living. Unlike some of the newly constructed apartments in the area, these apartments have really solid walls and floors that insulate you from noisy neighbors or anything going on outdoors. The neighborhood is developing quickly with plenty to do within walking distance, and provides easy access both downtown and to the freeway (I can make it my office downtown in less than 10 minutes during rush hour).

Also, the management team, Tammy and Rebecca, went above and beyond in responding to any issues and accommodating my needs. I previously lived in another one of their nearby properties, and not only have they been great during that time, but were extremely accommodating when I made the transition to this building. I've lived in 7 different apartments between 3 states and can honestly say that this is my favorite one thus far.

Very nice apartments and maintenance is on top of things. I’ve noticed MANY vacants and my only guess is because the parking is an absolute joke. If you don’t pay you can park on the street.where there’s very rarely a spot. And then get ticketed. Please get the parking situation figured out.

Moved to Columbus 1 year ago and chose here because it was brand new and location.

Overall I think management does have the tenants best interest in mind, just unfortunately working through the first year or two of being open.

Pro’s: Location, updated appliances, clean, pool, club house, 1yr membership at GoFitness

Con’s: Fairly expensive, pay for parking, pool allows 1 guest, outdated thermostat for brand new, right next to railroad tracks that are loud

My car was broken into with 25+ others, management never acknowledged it. More break-ins occurred so they acknowledged it and got a security guard for night. Seems more like they just park and empty police car on the property here and there. Still hearing reports of break ins. You’d think somewhere brand new would invest more into keeping their tenants feel safe and happy.

I’ve had really pleasant interactions with the leasing office and they helped me sort a place to live quickly and with ease. The community is kind and quiet and a great location. I live right next to the train tracks and to be honest I barely hear them at all if ever.

The price for the space is great, I just only wish for the amount we pay that a community fee wasn’t tacked onto the utilities because even if I’m not using much utilities, I still get a bigger bill than i am expecting every month based on the community fee. But the fee does go to good work in keep the area clean and cared for.

I feel very safe here walking from my car to my apartment at night and that can’t be said for everywhere. Overall, I’m really enjoying my time here!

I just went there for a tour and the "assistant property manager" as he names himself was pedantic and unpleasant as I've rarely seen. Plus incompetent. He couldn't answer my questions and was supposed to send me a recap of the apartment I was interested in but never did. Now that I see the Google comments, I understand that this place has serious management issues. I'll choose another place to live, however this one looked nice and quiet.

They pay for a security guard to keep people out of the pool area but not one to monitor the grounds. 30+ cars got broken into on multiple occasions and management did not even have the courtesy to send an email acknowledging the issue.

There is a reason you haven’t leased the property up. The rules regarding the pool suck and you don’t take care of your residents.

Stop focusing on keeping people out of your best asset, the pool, and focus on bringing people in so they know the community.

First: I loved my apartment and the space. Some of the work was questionable and I definitely had some water issues in the bathroom, but I was able to look past it most of the time. The pool had rules that I thought were sometimes necessary but didn’t always agree with how they were executed. However, management was severely lacking and one of the leasing specialists in particular was really hard to work with. Shortly after I moved in, the original management team left (unannounced to residents) and one of the most unprofessional leasing specialists took over the office. Needless to say, she was mostly the reason why I left and I constantly felt at odds with her. On SEVERAL occasions I would be having small talk with her when trying to pick up a package (she oftentimes lost them or did not organize their day-to-day deliveries, which belabored that process) and she would out of nowhere drop sensitive info about other residents (personal issues, rent delinquencies, etc.) that made me uncomfortable to go in while she was working. Nearing the end of my lease I pretty much actively avoided entering the office or community areas when she was working.

Construction also was always ongoing throughout Jeffrey Park which congested most access roads. My tire caught a nail once and had to rely on AAA to have it removed right in the middle of my busy day.

TLDR, if you’re looking for a decent (affordable) space with modern finishes, I would move here. The area is great (yes, some homeless folks around, but you run that risk anywhere you go.let’s not blame the homeless or the apartment complex for that) and I never had any issues with my neighbors. Should that leasing specialist ever leave the company, I truthfully would come back to live at the complex in the future.

Advice to the complex: In order to retain residents, please be transparent with them as I felt like that wasn’t the case at times. Otherwise, your maintenance staff was pretty great and my pets really enjoyed your space. Keep it up.

Seriously? There is a security guard at the pool and residents can only bring one guest? The place is empty and you know why.because this complex is horrible. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to live here.

I would avoid this place, there are much better values in the area. There is a train that goes by every night and gives a high pitched screech. It still wakes me up to this day and I have been there for a year. Parking is disorganized and my car was broken into during my time there.

Horrible horrible place to live. They evicted me based an anecdotal situations provided by one neighbor saying I was being too noisey at 5 in the morning. The lease in incredibly arbitrary, and they give tenants no leeway whatsoever. After trying to argue my case and trying to stay they threatened me and threatened forceful removal from the premise. Additionally, they have mass amounts of homeless people that try to solicit money from residents and have broken into cars in the parking garage and on the street. All of the buildings are way too close to 670 to the point where you can hear cars all night or way too close to the train tracks that never stop. Avoid at all costs.

Would give this 0 stars if I could. Normally I ignore the bad reviews I see, but don’t waste your money here. The only good management left and it’s a total waste of money and time. Don’t trust the management because they have never once told the truth during my time here. Misleading and arbitrary lease, don’t trust the parking situations, and look out for the homeless people that walk around your cars and apartments every night.

I lived at the foundry for a couple of years and moved over to the legacy most recently. I love this community. I want this review to talk about my old flat to my new flat.

The old unit had:

Recessed lighting in the living room. A linen closet in the bathroom and the bathroom shower was floor to ceiling tile.

You can tell that they had to cut cost so with the new unit they didn’t install the recessed lighting, linen closet in the bathroom and the floor to ceiling tile in the shower.

However, I’m still giving this complex five stars because honestly, you will love living at the Jeffery Park (The Legacy) community

OLD FLAT: 330 3A AUDEN. NEW FLAT: 800 WALDRON STREET.
