The Lackman, Cincinnati OH

Wonderful atmosphere. This is an amazing place to go to hang out with friends. The staff are awesome and very friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone.

If I could give this zero stars I would.

I’ve been going to the Lackman for nearly a decade and I had the most abhorrent experience there last night. A group of my friends and I stopped in, as we’ve frequently done, and had the most egregious service by the bartenders working there last night.
We were completely dismissed when we sat down at the bar, then once we were greeted, it was rude and dismissive; our orders were incorrect and then to top it off, after we closed our tabs and paid, a racist comment was made due as we were leaving about “our lack of tipping. ” We were treated with indecency - so there was absolutely no way we were leaving a tip. I’ve never been treated like this by an establishment and definitely one I’ve frequented plenty of times for nearly a decade.

Had a delicious old fashioned here. Great cocktail bar. However I saw patron after patron come in and get High Noon in a can. Don't be that guy. Get a cocktail.

Beautiful neighborhood bar with a fantastic beverage selection. Terry is a top notch bartender with both kindness and style.

Don’t come here Bartenders were beyond rude and unwelcoming. The staff made it very clear from the moment of walking into the door they did not want to serve us. The bartenders stared at us and spoke amongst themselves as to who was going to serve us in an condescending way. When we asked any questions about cocktails and made simple requests the bartender seem disgusted, and irritated with having to do the simplest of things. Part of our group left immediately after the blatant miss treatment from one of the bartenders, and shortly after their departure, the bartenders took to talking disrespectfully about my friends to each other, and to the other customers right in front of us will never come back here. Beware very unfriendly and uncomfortable environment.

Stopped in randomly for an early afternoon drink and Garet was amazing! We really enjoyed the conversation and the information about the city! Can’t wait to come back and visit again soon.

GLOWING REVIEW: the gentle sir’s (aka our bestie bartenders) were amazing. We didn’t need no man this St Patrick’s day - we needed these 3 amazing, speedy bartenders to give us shots, to keep the water flowing & the gentle guidance to NOT blow my whistle in the bar. We’ll be back

Do not bother going here. Spend your money elsewhere. The bartender was incredibly rude, and made it very clear that he was not interested in us. I wish I could afford to ignore and turn away customers at my business.

Another less than mediocre bar in Cincy. Weak drinks and even poorer service. Many other bar options available in that area.

Cool OTR neighborhood bar on the corner of Vine and 13th. They make great cocktails and also have a lot of beer on tap. I had a fun and tasty cocktail with pop rocks candy as the garnish around the rim.

The seating inside and outside is nice. Several good restaurants are on the same block. Service is always friendly and fast too. Prices are typical, but they have happy hour and other drink specials.

Love the Lackman. This place is a legendary spot with low key, classic bar vibes and high end drinks and staff. Never had a bad experience here.

Great for drinks before or after dinner, catching up with friends or coworkers, and relaxing with others.

Typical, no-frills bar, in gentrified OTR. It's often a haunt for new locals, industry types, and out-of-towners who don't mind dim lighting and pretentious pricing.

But the staff is.interesting.

Casey has to be the most unprofessional bartender in all of Ohio.
Lackluster drinks. No recommendations.
Harasses the homeless population.
. And gives preferential treatment to certain patrons, post closing.

Thank God there are bartenders like Terry.

Any other day.walk to Mecca for your libations (roughly 3 blocks northeast).

It's usually a pretty busy little spot. But it's a great place to stop for a drink.

Walked in to get a drink, he said “ NO “ and wouldn’t even give us a chance to ask. Rude and unprofessional should get fired.

Cool Bar and excellent location. $18 for a Manhattan in a martini glass half full is a bit much. Will def stick to beer when I come back.
