The Laurels of Huber Heights reviews
22My grandmother was here for physical therapy and aside from the elder abuse of not helping patients with basic services- and serving edible food- she has contracted corona virus here and is now in the hospital. Do not send your family members here.
There is nothing positive about this place. They really should be shut down. They do not care about the patients at all.
I've worked at this facility since October.
The management team is by far the best there is in their field. Every member from dietary to nurses care about the guest and put them first. We do whatever it takes to make the stay at our facility the best experience.
My father has been to several nursing homes in Dayton and none of them are as nice and actually tend to him like the nurses do here! Thanks for making him feel welcome and helping us through the process. A+
This is a very pleasant places with very good workers. They have helped me get closer and closer to my goals. The therapy is amazing. I would recommend the laurels of Huber heights to anyone that is looking to get better and be with positive and helping people.
The staff is wonderful they're always smiling and willing to help! The therapy team is awesome! I've seen them work wonders on myself included! This is my third visit and I would recommend them for long term and therapy care!
This place almost killed my mother and because of their negligence she lost her leg. I have seen staff on their phone and you can tell they don’t want to work there. They don’t care about the laundry. I had to write them a list of what to do and not do with my mother’s clothes. They was nonchalant when they contacted me to tell me that they sent her to the hospital. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
This place is horrible dirty worthless. Filled with homeless drug addicts that overdose while in the laurels care. The staff is to worried about cell phones and playing around then to attend to the needs of the elderly. There are drug deals that happen in the parking lot
This place needs condemned No help no staff, no management, no teamwork.bed bugs lice
The staff have been very accommodating and professional. Now if they would only have walking tacos on the menu more often, this would be a full five star review. But seriously, I have nothing but good things to say about the staff here.
Update: To the point of the staff being accommodating, I have personally witnessed them bending over backwards to help a guest whose discharge plans had fallen through, and they did so without hesitation.
The staff was very friendly to my family and I while my grandma was there. Any issues that we had were handled promptly. The therapy staff worked well with her on her recovery to get better. Facility always smelled nice, no odors like other places. The meals were warm and fresh. They always notified us of everything that would be happening. Would recommend this place to other family and friends.
While I was here I enjoyed my time. I miss everyone there, made some amazing friends that I hope I can see again soonish, they treated me very good, The administrator is Eric is good dude, he is my buddy
The staff hey has ben great they have ancered all my question and whin i need something they work fast to get it for me and at least one person every day stops to ask me how i am and that helps me from day to day and the aids are great as well
Great place, great team. I have seen every effort to make the guest happy, comfortable and satisfied.
Laurels of Huber heights has been a great place for my rehabilitation. When I fractured my ankle and couldn't climb my stairs the rehab team came to my rescue. Chris Norman has been great taking care of any problems I have had. My nurses and aides are so sweet and great at there jobs. My angel when I got here Jessica Collins was so awesome giving me the things I needed to help me pass my time away. Thanks everyone for such great care.
This is a great place to work, staff are friendly, facility is clean. I would recommend this place for employment and as a facility to place their loved one.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Nurses are very helpful and the aides go out of their way to help me. Therapy staff is outstanding! I've been here 7 months and have no complaints. If I ever want to talk to somebody, Eric the Administrator and Chris the Marketer are very easy to reach and speak to.
Clean friendly home with very skilled and caring staff. Food is great with many options to meet any special needs. The laurels of Huber heights strives to exceed each individual patients expectations.
What a great team of professionals. The changes that The Laurels of Huber Heights has seen over the last year have been amazing and truly shows the dedication of the staff. Achieving the Bronze Award was an exciting feat and that commitment to excellence is visible through the CMS Quality Measures star rating.
-10 STARS IS WHAT I REALLY GIVE IT. Please never put any one in here! They will not be taken care of. The director of marketing makes lude comments to residents. Your loved one will not get their meds especially any narcotics! The staff does not care!
Our family had an amazing experience here. My sister had a knee replacement and needed to rehab. I was very worried considering the older reviews, but after spending some time talking with the staff, and doing my own research, we discovered that it was the perfect fit for us. I would recommend to anyone.
