The Laurels of West Carrollton

Worst place ever! They treat my mother like dirt. I've talked to everyone here. I get no response or help. Everyone passes the buck. Trying to get social worker to send papers to different place and he won't do it. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE!

My mother was there last year and she was being sedated to the point she couldn't hardly react when we saw her thru the window a couple times, she went from 82 lbs.down to 67 lbs.when we got her out of there after 5 weeks!
Trying to get ahold of someone to see how she was doing was extremely hard, since it takes a long time for them to answer calls. Reason Mom was put there was due to the 4 star rating which is VERY misleading lie! Due to Covid we were never allowed inside, it was a horrible experience for both her and us

This is my second time here. My nurses Todd and Becky take great care of me. My therapist motivates me to reach my goals so I will be able to return home. Sandy from admissions checks on me and always encourages me.

This is my Brother's second time back to the Laurels of West Carrollton. After a bad experience with a few other nursing homes and an assisted living facility iam beyond grateful to Sandy for helping me get him back closer to my mom and I. The staff and the facility are just wonderful. After a few years we still know so many good people and staff.

My nurses todd, Shelia, tammy and sandra have taken great care of my needs. My aides chuck, treasure, Gayle and Jackie do a great job.

I wouldn't even give them a one star if a zero was available. My loved one was taken there with brain cancer and was their to get therapy and strong enough for radiation. She has been laying there for almost 3 weeks. You have to make a appt to see her. Yet they don't answer their phones. If you can get a visit it is usually over a week. Well now she is in her final stages of passing and they have robbed us the family of our time to be with here. They do not care about family they don't treat their patients as they should. I wouldn't let them board my dog.

My aides Jessica, Gail and Treasure take great care of me. My nurse Tammy, Rhonda and Glynnasha takes great care of me!

This is my mom's second time being a patient at The Laurels. The staff is very caring. The therapy team is great. The nursing staff is very caring and keeps me updated on her condition. The facility is clean and welcoming.

My dad was admitted yesterday after 7pm. Staff send mom couldn’t come in due to the time being so late but she could make an appointment to see him this morning. She called to make an appointment and was told that he’s under quarantine for 2 weeks! No one can see him. He has cancer in his spine and is not getting pain meds in a timely manner. They dropped off his breakfast this morning and he couldn’t reach it. It’s pitiful!

Great facility, Great staff, especially Todd one of the nurses and Gayle one of the STNA's they have taken great care of me. Therapy has been awesome helping me reach my goals in getting home.

This is my second time coming to the Laurels, The nursing staff was great and took great care of me. I want to thank Todd, Crystal, Patty and Gregory for taking great care of me. Mary from housekeeping kept my room cozy and clean. Thank you very much.

What a pleasure staff was at the Laurels of West Carrollton everyone was very nice to me. The food was great. Appreciative of therapy to getting me as Independent as possible and making me feel that I can move back home to Illinois. Thank You Laurels of West Carrolton

My mother-inlaw is currently at this facility, she has been given such great care. The staff is very helpful especially with me being the POA for my mother-inlaw and all the way down in Florida making all her decisions for her. Renée at the front desk it so polite and helpful. Debbie in financial has been a great help with the financial aspect of everything. Jon was wonderfull at getting all the proper paperwork taken care of for me and Sandy in admissions has become my most favorite person in helping me get my mother-inlaw's room situated, and getting the aides to work with my mother-inlaw to get her up and active more and more on a daily basis. She took the initiative to go above and beyond to make sure we get the proper pt for my mother-inlaw. It has not been the easiest thing to work through all of everything being so far away and with all the covid restrictions. And with the help of Sandy she has just helped lift a huge weight off my shoulders. I would give her 100 stars of I could!

Great place to come for Rehab, my therapist encouraged me and took great care of me. The nurses and aides took good care of me. The cook was great prepared great food. I enjoyed my stay here.

I cannot say enough about Laurels of West Carrollton, the staff and my therapist Kim.my STNA Jackie and Patty, My nurse Shanika, they all have been wonderful to me. Sandy from Admissions is always checking in on me. The housekeeping staff always keeps my room super clean and cozy. The food is good. I've really enjoyed my stay here!

I cant say enough about The Laurels of West Carrollton, without them I would not able been able to bring my sister home. She resided at another nursing home previously and had lots of complaints, transferred to the Laurels and after four weeks, my sister is looking forward to returning home, The staff was very nice and caring for my sister. Thankyou everyone!

This is the fourth nursing home my husband has been in this year.
The is the first time he has been content and he hasn't called me to come and get him. The staff is very friendly and responds quickly to his needs. He commends his physical therapist he was so kind to him. Renee the receptionist is very kind and pleasant and always helps me. She makes me feel like I'm her friend. When I see the staff leaving for the day they are always smiling and happy.

I cant say enough about the nurses and aides here, they all are very friendly and are always taking great care of me, especially Crystal and Todd are very hard workers. Mary from housekeeping keeps my room neat and clean.my wife was in several different nursing homes and I tried the food in all of them, the food here has been better than all of them, every meal has been excellent.

I have lived her for 5 years, my STNA's care great care of me, Deb and Vicki. Nick from activities takes me outside to enjoy the sunshine, and keeps me busy. Jon from social service does a lot for me.
