My son got married on Saturday November 11,2023. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Owner was RUDE to guest as well as her staff, except the bartender, he was ok. They rushed things along and started cleaning before people were ready. The one guy announced the couples last dance and told everyone they had to get out of the barn. Someone asked him to leave and he said he didnt have to. Word of mouth means alot to a small business, trust me, I have a big mouth and not affraid to state my opinion. As much as she charges to rent a barn you would think they would be nicer and more considerate.

I assumed that lady was the owner. Sorry. You might want to consider retraining your staff or hiring new.

I want to give a shout out to Q photography. She did an excellent job will most definitely recommend her

I was part of a wedding party at this venue, and the experience was rather disappointing. Part of the problem was the bride and grooms lack of planning, but the other problems we because of the venue.

When we arrived to decorate, the tables were covered in bat and bird poop. The tablecloths were folded up on the tables, and some also had feces on them. I was given one rag and some cleaner to wipe down all sixteen tables. However, when the owner of the venue arrived, she expressed that the tables were stained and they were as clean as they were going to get. She then proceeded to put a tablecloth on a table I had not wiped down yet, and then attempted to put another tablecloth on a table which had pooled liquid feces on it. She only stopped when I quickly sprayed the table, and she hrumped at me as I wiped it down.

The chairs were also disgusting, but we were advised the staff would clean them the day of the wedding. Which they did seem to be clean the day of. After the tables were decorated, they were covered in plastic to keep them from getting nasty overnight.

The venue owner then proceeded to complain about the seating chart cards and she ended up taking them somewhere in the back, but I was not part of this exchange so I don't know exactly what happened. She also complained about the mother of the bride, and I was told later that she was perfectly pleasant to work with until the check was signed.

While we were rehearsing, the venue owner showed another potential customer the venue. I have a suspicion that she usually shows the venue off when its decorated for other events to hide how nasty it really is.

The DJ pretty much decided how and when all of us were going to walk down the aisle. Which I thought was odd, but the bride was very laissez-faire about the whole situation so I don't blame him for taking over.

The rooms we were given to change in were tiny, and there were very often to many people needing to use them at once. In addition, we were told to get our stuff out before dark, which for security purposes is understandable, but it was very inconvenient as the reception was just being kicked off at that time.

The ceremony was held outside right next to the septic system, which we could smell the entire time. And the outdoor sound system was awful.

This is not necessarily the venue's fault, but we were not very far from the road, and a few vehicles went by and honked thier horn. Another vehicle was just very loud, so if you are afraid of loud traffic ruining your ceremony, I suggest you have it somewhere else.

The reception was fine, except the dance floor was not very big. I believe a table got moved later in the night to make more room, but over all it was fine. We did enjoy the bubble machines, especially the one that put fog in the bubbles.

In conclusion, I would not suggest this venue for a ceremony. Perhaps just a reception venue. In any case, I did warn another bride who I knew was using the venue soon to bring her own cleaning supplies.

I loved having my wedding here! Kimberly and her staff did everything to make my special day here go as smoothly as possible. I couldn't picture a better wedding. I am so thankful for my experience here. I would recommend this place to anyone! It was the best.
