I paid for some of my employees to spend the day at the LOC Shop.
On Monday they came to work disappointed with the lack of professionalism, experience, and the blatant choice of words and language used among the establishments employees.
I paid a substantial amount of money for a professional service only to discover that the experience was entirely less than professional.
I feel that's it's only right to make things right for my employees after discovering that the LOC Shop did not deliver what they advertise.
I guess I'll take them out for dinner and drinks to make up for what the LOC Shop could not deliver.

I have been coming to this shop for over a year. My experience has always been great. The atmosphere at The Loc Shop is so down to earth. They are always so welcoming!
If you want your Locs done correct the First time this is where you need to be! Anything regarding Locs they can do it, from extension to repairs, to hair coloring, any style thats basic to any style that’s so grand you won’t find it anywhere else.

I have been to this shop a few time and have had a great experience as well have ordered from their website for product. I went online and ordered their products on March 3rd 2023 and here it is April 27th. I have not received my product with no update and have been ignored when asking for any kind of update on my order. I would have never thought that the women that I met and had that great experience with would ever just take my money and run. I will not ever order from them again nor do I recommend anyone else doing so either.

Would love to come back, but the staff is very reserved and dry. Also, my locs needed extreme repair, and it seemed like just a consultation was a major hinderance to their operations.
Hopefully I can come back in a few months and things will seem different

I LOVE THE LOC SHOP! The professionalism and knowledge of the locticians is unmatched! There is never a day I go to get my retwist or style that I'm not greeted with a smile when I walk through the door. Shanti Dread started my locs almost 4 years ago and I wouldn't even THINK of letting anyone else outside of The Loc Shop touch my dreads. Their Ebony Essentials products are the ONLY products I use in my hair and they do not disappoint! I love the women who work there and am loc'd for life!

Good price on a retwist and style. I was being washed within 5 min of sitting down. On my second visit here and I was happy with both stylists. Very professional with their time.

The establishment is nice enough but that doesn't make up for the loud atmosphere. The music was so loud, the beauticians were practically screaming (in my ear no less) to be heard. I'm a more mature client, but they make no provisions for that clientele. Having your hair done should be therapeutic, not stressful. My 4 hour experience here was terrible and I won't be back. Too bad. They did a nice job on my hair.
