The Lunch Box, Sandusky OH

I stopped here for lunch and ordered the hot turkey sandwich. My food came right out and looked good. The turkey was moist and tender, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were very tasty. Overall, this was a great lunch, and I will stop here again.

Great local place that has the kind of atmosphere that makes it a local family owned restaurant. Found it by random chance and intend to make it a place to go each time our group is in the area.

Absolutely LOVE the chicken paprikosh.they have the best comfort foods around!

I came to the lunch box for something different.the tables were nasty not wiped down.got two burgers and paid almost 40 dollars way overpriced.the food was ok but I felt like I got ripped off when I got the bill.the service was extremely slow took about 45 minutes for my food.was not impressed

The working are great and it's the best family restaurant in the area 5*****

We love trying new places, and not always chain locations. This was a pleasant surprise. Reminiscent of how restaurants once were in looks and atmosphere. Smaller in scale. Breakfast was tasty!

I honestly judged a book by its cover too quickly here. I was a little concerned when I walked in because the place needs a little updating. But the food more than made up for it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was GREAT. If you're in the area and in the food for some AWESOME ma and pop diner food this is the place!
