The Nest Schools, Independence OH

Our experience with The Nest in Independence, Ohio has been wonderful. The infant teachers are fantastic and we love the personal interaction we get during drop offs and pick ups. My wife and I love the updates and photos in the Procare app throughout the day! I highly recommend this facility.

The Nest is a wonderful place to take your child. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and trustworthy.

Our daughter loves going to daycare each day. She has grown and developed so much since she’s been attending Nest Independence.

My wife and I can not express how grateful we are for The Nest and how wonderful everyone and this experience has been. We had a very bad experience at our previous facility where our daughter was enrolled that left a bad taste in our mouth. Since our daughter has been enrolled at the Independence Nest location she has just blossomed. I love the ASL that they are teaching her daily as she’s been excited to show us what she has learned. The teachers and staff and very communicative to us keeping us up to date on what is happening in the classroom and how my child is doing. The facility is excellent, it’s so bright, clean and welcoming. All of the staff and teachers are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to caring for all the children. My wife and I love this place!

Our kid comes home saying, “ I love this daycare. I didn’t like old daycare. ” Here, take my $$!

My son attends Nest School Independence and we have loved his teachers. He has learned so much and his teachers have really cared about the children.

The environment is friendly and welcoming. I can feel the warmth the minute I walk through the doors. The faculty communicates very well which is of extreme importance. My kids have flourished under the guidance of the staff. They’re learning and are happy to go to school every day. The curriculum is very good and has enhanced their growth. The playground is also equipped well and I admire the fact that there’s an indoor and outdoor play area.

Our daughter absolutely loves coming here and all the teachers make her feel so special. Ms Lisa and Ms Liz do a phenomenal job and we are so grateful! On top of that, teachers from the other rooms (ours is in hummingbirds) are always playing with her and saying hi. 100% recommend.

We love The Nest in Independence. My son has been there for a little over a year now, since he was 13 weeks old. The teachers seem to genuinely love the kids, and we love the curriculum and all of the extras, like music and art of life! It is clean and bright and always full of happy kids! I would highly recommend The Nest in Independence!

The administration and teachers at the school are incredible. Knowing my baby is in such good hands makes going back to work a lot easier. They’re excellent at communicating updates throughout the day and they always make sure baby has what she needs! I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My husband and I really enjoy the daily updates we get on our son on the App. It’s so nice to know what he is doing throughout the day while we work. His classroom is always clean and well organized. I love the hands on learning structure they have as well. Thank you for caring for my son and helping him grow.

We wanted to love The Nest, but ended up leaving after only 4 months. On our first day a bottle of my breastmilk was given to another child (because "they had the same bottle", even though it was labeled with first and last name) and the former director didn't even call me, just messaged me on the app. The situation was grossly mishandled in additional ways by administration, but the director resigned so we continued our enrollment figuring things could only improve. The infant teachers are very kind, but very overwhelmed. Our baby who started at 3 months old, would sometimes go 4-5 hours without a bottle and we were told she just wasn't hungry and wasn't fussing for a bottle, but she would be gulping down 2 full bottles the second she got home. The classroom was often chaotic and the teachers did not have a lot of communication opportunities with parents at pick up to talk about the child's day. We left because of a personal conflict with a new teacher from previous experience working with her and when I brought my concerns I was casually dismissed as they hadn't experience that with the staff member, but when another family was also leaving weeks later due to the same concern, there was suddenly reason for them to complete an investigation. This showed me they really just cared about the money from enrollment, not the actual concern brought up. When getting our deposit back it took almost two months because they continued to have the incorrect address in their system, despite both my husband and I bringing to their attention that our child's birthdate and our address were incorrect in the system upon enrollment, which shows me that they are not attentive to details either. I will say that the building was always very clean and organized and they did a great job with sending pictures regularly through the app. For the amount of tuition though, the service we received was not high quality. As someone who has worked in the early childhood education field, I do have high standards and was highly disappointed with our experience.

We love the Nest. All of the teachers are genuine and give my son the best care. They never hesitate to reach out if there is a concern, and my child has learned so much from this facility. We have used another daycare center before but are happy that we switched to the Nest. Our location is open until 6: 30pm, which is so helpful for two working parents. We feel very fortunate for all of the caregivers at our location, and really appreciate them all. The communication in the app makes it very convenient, and we love receiving photos of their fun activities throughout the day. With a great curriculum and such a great staff, one would be hard pressed to find a different daycare center. Thank you for your wonderful, 5 star service!

We have been at the Nest Independence for over a year. The building is bright and clean with a nice outdoor play space. Our son loves the teachers and is learning so much. He especially enjoys the introduction of ASL/Spanish words and likes to show off at home. We enjoy getting pictures and updates through the day via ProCare. Earlier reviews mention frequent staff turnover which is true, but this seems to be an issue in childcare facilities everywhere. Would definitely recommend the Nest Independence!
