The Original Margaritaville, Sandusky OH

Good service. The menu is more BBQ than the original Mexican it was years ago. Not much to eat for a vegetarian. Still a fun place to go with beautiful water feature. Great drinks.

Great food, great staff, and great atmosphere! Loved the food as well and our table view of the waterfall was absolutely gorgeous! What a super cool and awesome place to build a restaurant/bar right on the water! Definitely will be back again!

Our server was excellent. My husband has a food allergy and he made sure that they had options for him. Food was excellent!

Amazing night chill and awesome food! Bartender was the nicest person we had a great birthday celebration!

Food was out of this world! Great taste, great price and great service to go along with it. The view from a waterfall booth is amazing! I recommend sitting there if you can. Best of all. $4.50 margaritas!
What is not to like at this place?

Our waiter was amazing and very informative. Gorgeous views. The food was fantastic. It was nice and quiet. Everything we wanted for a family outing!

Great food, great scenery, great people! We decided to stop in on a family trip and definitely want to return when in the area again! I also want to applaud this location for it's hours because so many places close too early nearby. You can bring the family, watch a game, or get a drink here! A great example of how to do things right!

I was excited to come to this place. So very disappointing. My strawberry margarita was awful. I have high hopes for a place called margaritaville. They did not have crushed ice and the flavor was terrible. It wasn't even red. Sorry guys.

The food was good and the waterfall was very cool! Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our margaritas, they had alcohol but both the regular mix and the mango mix were both off and thick and the service was less than poor! And the hostess was rude!

Food was great! Service was awesome I have food allergies and they worked around them. And awesome pork skins! Very cool view of a big waterfall outside the window! Gotta check it out nice place definitely eat there again.

The food was neither good nor bad. Not going to lie but it was just a one and done. Wouldn't go back. Found a hair in my drink.there was that. The waterfall they had, had my hopes up but the food wasn't anything special but that's just my opinion

My first complaint is that the staff was dismissive and too busy talking to each other to help. The establishment was very dirty and had a slight smell. I understand places that flood will hold that smell but they could do a bit better cleaning. We liked that we could chose where we wanted to sit I’m guessing that’s because it wasn’t too busy. The waterfall is really cool to see and my daughter was entertained by it. The food was just ok and I was surprised by that. The drink specials were my favorite part. When I asked to buy a T-shirt the staff tried to ignore us even though no other customer was around. The T-shirt is pretty thin and already shrank.

Unfortunately this was not a very exciting environment or experience. Place seems dirty now and food has become less qualified. Bar tenders were not very friendly and on tap selections were very limited. It's sad that this place has become subpar.

Wife had shrimp tacos. She said they were pretty good. Came with a mango salsa and a seasoned ear of corn. The ville-burger I had was less than average. Overcooked and dried out. Fries were good. Prices are ok, nothing crazy, but for the portion size I was not impressed. Doubtful that I would go back unless I heard of significant improvement to the menu and quality of food.

What a wonderful place. Service was excellent. The food.so delicious! We had stuffed red peppers and mac n cheese with blackened shrimp.
