The Original Peppe & Luigis, Barberton OH

I wanted to try a new pizza place tonight so figured I would try this place. The lady who took my order over the phone was very nice, but didn't know the sizes of the pizzas and when I asked her how big the pizzas were in inches she said "I don't know what you mean". It's hard for me to understand someone not knowing their own pizza sizes let alone that pizza sizes are most commonly in inches. Their large is 12" if you're wondering.

Anyways I got it home and opened it up. It didn't look bad but an onion odor hit me immediately. I absolutely hate onions so I was horrified to find after lifting the cheese up that there were onions on it. They either put it in the sauce or they just messed up and put onions on my pizza. I tried to pick them out and eat it still but the sauce just had an overpowering onion flavor. I didn't care for the sauce at all.

So if you like onions, then you might like it but I definitely wasn't a fan.

One of my worst experiences ever. Went here with family to get some pizza, and we ordered a "Jumbo" pizza for the family, the menu having said it would have 16 slices. Pizza was okay after having waited 40 minutes to get it. Came out with 10 slices, and the waiter admitted to having "not updated the menu" (false advertising; we had even asked if it would be enough pizza for the family of 6 we are). The waiter had the audacity to ask if they could cut the pizza to get 6 extra slices, so as not to have to give us a refund for the lost slices. Waiter was extremely rude to us after that. Asked for the manager at least three times. When we finally got the manager, they were not very polite and refused to give us a refund for the 6 slices we lost. Never going back again.

It's one of the better pizzas in Barberton. Always fresh and hot. They have been around a long time for a reason. I don't know if the dining room has reopened, it has been closed since Covid started

Just paid 50.00 for a sheet pizza that was burnt on top! A thin tiny lady with salt and pepper hair waited on us. Not very friendly at all. I'll choose better next time.

Great place to go if you want to pay $12 for dried up no flavor noodles.i could’ve made this myself for 50 cents if you see this, go to parassons.

These people are still terrified to use their dining area. I won't for a minute ever chose a place with a closed dining room over actually dining in.

Take out only, not vey much atmosphere here. Prices great pizza is good but not brick oven baked.

They were supposed to be open, according to their posted hours on the door, But were CLOSED! So, I can't give Any experience comments.

Always enjoyed the pizza here, even in high school. Yes there dinning room is still closed but that doesn't stop them from making one of the best pizzas in Barberton!

We love your pizza but can't get through on phone to order pick up and online ordering is delivery only.

Was really looking forward to trying this pizza. Too bad the dining room was closed. Said because of "No Help". The sign looked like it was carefully taped in place. Why does no one want to work for you?

Place is disgusting. I ordered a filled chicken salad and they placed the hot chicken on top of salad. Salad was all wilted and not fresh, chicken had no flavor, garlic bread was basically a hoagie roll with sesame seeds on top and hard, what a rip off for $17. Plus in bad neighborhood, 2 guys found a drug deal right in front of entrance door. Not a person eating in restaurant which was a sign I should of turned and left. Cleaning lady said Luigi’s is much better than this place. Terrible
