The Painesville Speedway

I spent many weekends with my dad and friends at Painesville Speedway. We also visited Cloverleaf and other tracks in the area. So far as I know this is the only one still in operation. If I wasn’t so far away I’d be taking our grandson to this track.

Raced up there this weekend had a great time, my car got a little dinged up but we still had a lot of fun. Randy the owner is an awesome person, he really puts on a good show up here

Except for the addition of a bit more seating and sponsorship signage it's the same as when I used to go decades ago.
Lackluster performance from the broadcast booth as I had no idea what was going on race wise for most of the night.

The race track is a great place for a good time. You should go check it out before the season is over.

Was such a fun time. The only complaint I have is the "Burn out" competition for the last nite of the season, should have been last. Not the 3rd festivity. The fumes were so bad everyone was complaining. It literally gave me a massive headache/stomach ache that I had to leave and go home.after spending $20 to get in. I would have loved to the the towed trailers on the figure 8. Oh well.

Soooo great to see this track and staff running like a well oiled machine! Such a great night to honor my passed father in laws. He loved this track and racing it 40 years ago. Awesome talent and wonderful competition! Thanks to all.

Was a really fun experience riding in a car. Made me have more love and respect for the sport.

Definitely enjoy the food and racing. Come check out one of the best figure 8 tracks you'll ever find. It's not to mention the snack bar is the greatest. Definitely come check some great wheel to wheel racing! Hope to see you there!

This was a nice paved track. There were lots of cars. The atmosphere was family friendly. There were concession stands with your standard food offerings. Seating was pretty close to the track so you got to see all of the action. Make sure to bring ear plugs it does get loud. I'd definitely go again

Always a fun time coming here. Great way to support the local community and watch some good ol’ fashioned racing. Seating is plentiful although I would recommend bringing a cushion, or something, to sit on if bleacher seating is not your thing. They have a shed behind the stands that serves cold beer and another shed that serves food. There really isn’t a bad seat due to it being a small track. Race nights consist of various different races including the popular Iron Man series and Figure 8 among others. Destruction at the Battleground nights are always a blast because it is guaranteed carnage. Great for the whole family or just a night out for two.

Awesome race track. This place has a feel all of its own. Great racing and family entertainment. The Maggio family takes great care of their racing family

It was a great time. Randy and is son Randy Jr where awesome. Great guys very nice and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Great night out! Lots of fun and exciting races! Family section where no alcohol allowed. Well organized and good security present. Lots of food and drink choices. Lots of free parking Adults$10 or $15 for special events. Their website is excellent ️ One Tip ***WEAR EAR PLUGS! *** It gets very loud!

Was disappointed! Been 26 years since I have to the track. Yes it is cleaned up. But no sportsmen, 2 cars for street stock. 8 cars for figure 8.no dash, heat races, trucks did a hear race. Very disappointed!

So much fun. Small raceway so you feel right on top of everything. Made me want to buy a car and race!
