Restaurant The Pearl reviews
19The Pearl has a very unique menu, which allowed us to try a few new things. I am not a big fan of cornbread, but theirs is delish! And the bacon wrapped dates.a 10! Fish & chips were amazing as well. When making reservations or walking in, ask for Kevin AKA FABULOUS. He was an excellent server with loads of knowledge
The Pearl has everything you look for in an upscale restaurant: soft ambiance, fresh food, and excellent service. The Dublin location is located next to the river with a side and back patio to enjoy warmer days.
We stopped in for brunch, with all of us being extremely happy with our orders. I had the shrimp and grits which was incredible. The creamy grits paired with large, fresh shrimp and kielbasa sausage were covered in a bright tomato-based broth. The chicken and waffles had piping hot fried chicken and a perfectly fluffy waffle with a peach compote and syrup. The huevos rancheros came with a side of tortillas and provided that tex mex flavor we were looking for. The eggs Benny was more of a crossover between eggs benedict and biscuits and gravy than and true benedict, but was delicious and not too heavy nonetheless.
Check out The Pearl next time you're in Dublin!
3 trips, same experience, depending on whether you value service or food quality more. Very good food, slow, inattentive service. Can’t get both here.
Great restaurant and great service! Food was outstanding! The Pub burger is the best burger I ever had!
Our first visit to Dublin and The Pearl was recommended. We got there for a late lunch on a Saturday and had the best experience. We were in no rush and spent 3 hours trying different parts of the menu, enjoying the atmosphere and view looking over the pedestrian Bridge.
We ordered the smoked salmon Appetizer, shrimp and grits and grilled cheese (subbed tots per servers rec.) We split a half-size harbor salad and it was a perfect balance to our meals.
We finished with brown sugar pie and espresso.
Not a single complaint. We will absolutely be back to enjoy fall foliage and outdoor eating on the heated patio/deck.
Did they hire new cooks? The shrimp and grits were swimming in oil. The drinks lacked depth if they were not specific to the mention special.
Service is good. Atmosphere is good.
The Pearl had lots of options for brunch, with classics like eggs Benedict, omelettes, and chicken with waffles!
The chicken had super crispy breading on the outside and tender white meat inside. The waffle was in the softer side so it was easy to cut and I really liked dipping it in the peach compote with lots of small chunks of peach! The Ohio sourced honey was really good to dip the chicken in as well.
They also have other lunch options like the grilled cheese, which comes with a side salad, or you could substitute the salad with fries! The fries were super crispy and thick.
They had plenty of indoor seating and lots of cute knick knacks and books as decor. Service was a bit slow since it was fairly busy. It's a solid option if you're in bridge park!
One of my favorite restaurants in Columbus! So many delicious dishes! Served by very professional and friendly staff, in a well lit and open environment. For Snacks, the Devils on Horseback are #1 IMHO. The Deviled Eggs are very solid, and the Friend PB&J a different twist. For Starters you can't beat the Clam Chowder or the very distinct Corn Bread, which despite the name is not hot at all. The Chowder is wonderfully flavorful and love the actual 3 clams they add! As for the Corn Bread, don't let the Jalapeno in the name throw you. I don't really taste any heat. Just sweet and buttery goodness. As for Entrees, I have the Pub Burger, Grilled Cheese, Pork Piri Piri and Hanger Steak all in rotation, depending on my mood. (The Pub Burger caught me off guard with how good it was!) And the rotating pie selection is the perfect way to cap off the meal.:) If they have it the Strawberries and Cream "pie" is their best!
They just added a shrimp appetizer that's really good. The sauce is delicious.
Years later it is still one of my go-to places, esp to bring out of town guests.
Great views of the Dublin Link Bridge. Staff was excellent. Son loved the cinnamon bun. Sausage gravy was excellent but sausage patties were dense. Omlette looked great. Kitchen had lots of non-dairy and Gluten free options.
This place is a must go if you are local or visiting. Our waiter was very friendly, patient and even helped us decide what to order. The hanger steak was full of flavor. Towards the back of the restaurant you get a great view of the bridge and riverside drive. No disappointments here!
Pearl Dublin is Fantastic. Jess behind the bar is top notch! She always makes a point to make us feel special and goes above and beyond. They are lucky to have her! 12/10 Service and great food.
The service, the food, the atmosphere of the place are excellent, it is a spectacular place, it is romantic but you can also share with friends, the choice of wines they have delicious.
This was recommend by a friend as a place to eat while my co-workers and I were in town for a conference. The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed their picks. The server, Sammie, was a doll- so sweet and took great care in all of our requests. Definitely recommend The Pearl to anyone who is looking for awesome seafood with amazing customer service.
The dual miniature gender bathrooms in such a high end and expensive place were a disaster! They were loaded with urine on the floor and they are very tiny. They should just have two bigger bathrooms, one for lady’s and one for men! Mixing genders in such nice places makes the place go CHEAP! It ruined the whole amazing eating experience. Bathrooms reflect the kitchen always. Waitress was very nice!
Excellent place to enjoy any occasion, you can go with your family or have a dinner plan. Delicious food, impeccable service and the wine is delicious.
Absolutely perfect food and a view to die for. I can't believe I haven't been here before. This was one of my top 10 dining experiences of all time!
Wonderful experience. Food was great and our server, Chris, was even better. So many gluten-free options for my daughter with Celiac Disease. Loved it and will absolutely be back. Great place. Parked in the nearby garage for free, with a validation by the restaurant. Short walk from parking to dining and back, which was good as we were stuffed.
First time dining at the Pearl. I was really impressed with the quality of food and the service. We had a variety of appetizers and they were all yummy. I suggest the tater tots and fried fish and chips
We enjoyed our 48th anniversary and our daughter's birthday at The Pearl. Our dinner was superb, our server was very attentive and friendly. Terrific evening!
