I have been living in Pines for 9 months and I would like to share my honest experience, The apartments are really spacious and new besides I got the biggest kitchen they even changed my stove as per my request (I got an Induction glass top stove), management responds quickly they are friendly too. We have Noor masjid very near to our area and Walmart and other shopping centres are just a mile away. It is safe and gated community, overall we have nice experience living in pines.

Let see we are in a snow blizzard and our heat does not work. No one is available to answer your calls. You can only go to any online account for a maintenance request. I can go on but I will stop here.

The rooms and all of the facilities are excellent, and the rooms themselves are spaces. Staff is cooperative at all times.

We are living in pines since 1year community is very pleasant and very hygienic. Maintenance is very good. The rooms were very spacious and good place for kids to play. Enough space for walking and hanging around. Community has a beautiful pool and kids can enjoy a lot. All stores are nearby to this community.

I have not been here long, but the service has been remarkable. We put in some simple work orders right after we moved, and they came out within a day or two to complete them. The maintenance guys and the folks in the office have been nothing but prompt and polite. I'd certainly recommend.

My wife and I are so pleased with this community. We are a retired couple who have downsized from owning a house. We feel so at home in this large two bedroom apartment. This is a family oriented community. It is very quiet. The pool has been impeccably maintained and the installed grills are so convenient and we so appreciative. I would recommend The Pines to all!

Have lived here for 4 years. New management making a lot of improvements, good staff. Maintenance is very responsive. Location provides access to everything I want. Friendly staff and mostly a quiet community. Phase 3 units are very nice. Last year moved to an older townhome which is spacious though stairs and floors a bit creaky. Upstairs stay hot or cold depending on time of year, maintenance upgraded outdoor compressor which helped. Pool is a little disappointing, filters don’t work so water stays dirty and parts of pool are deteriorating. I’m sure that will be fixed in off season. Not being able to grill is a bummer, but that’s the fire code, and an acceptable trade-off for other factors.

Overall really like living here, been here for 3 years in a 1 Bed 1 Bath + Den. Want to share some pros and cons of the complex:

Pros:
-Rent is definitely competitive
-The overall unit is very spacious for its price, particularly the bedroom, bathroom, and closets are very spacious
-I like having the porch/balcony, our cat very much enjoys being outside there, as do we on a less frequent basis albeit
-Internet service through spectrum has been very reliable here, coming from a full WFH IT guy.
-If you're on a second story, the vaulted ceilings are a huge plus for making the space feel large
-Gym availability is a nice convenience, as is the pool but I don't use it as much
-Good walking paths by the neighboring complex the Orchard, there is even some ponds that you can go fishing in there. You can also bike easily down to Hilliard on sidewalks, given you have room in the apartment for bikes.
-The TV/Fireplace/Shelving set up in our unit is very space efficient and is a good benefit, at least for our unit
-In unit laundry is a big plus to never take for granted
-I haven't had any safety issues myself in this complex.
-Location very close to 270 is extremely convenient
-The people here are nice. Not too chatty, but certainly some opportunities to make friends if you're looking for that.

Cons:
-Parking passes can be quite the hassle.
-Gate keys are an even bigger hassle than the parking passes. People get stuck all the time there at night, and it makes Doordash and the like inconvenient, especially if you live far from the gates. I miss the days where the gates were broken and stayed open all the time, giving the illusion of the added safety to the outsiders without the hassle of actually using them.
-We've had some instances where trash has built up in the compactors to some pretty crazy levels once a year or so. This complex would absolutely benefit from another compactor or even some dumpsters, as there is the single compactor which, while efficient, serves too many people for its own good I would say. It smells funky there too, a problem that could be fixed by not putting so much trash in one space and emptying more regularly.
-The kitchen in particular is very low on space relative to the rest of the unit. It gets the job done, but even just 2 cooks in the kitchen is too much.
-Considerable move out early fees, which makes house hunting harder if you're looking to do that like I had started to. It's very confusing why this isn't relaxed despite their ability to raise rent for the next tenants.
-Like some others report, we had some things that needed cleaned up and fixed when we moved in. Although maintenance did a pretty good job of taking care of it however.

Overall, I would recommend living here, especially on a short to medium term basis. Most of my problems are outside of the unit I would say, but not to a point where I would consider it a deal breaker or that it outweighs the benefits of the unit itself. Solid 4 stars.

I came to the Pines after graduating from Ohio State. The change of pace was very much needed. For the first time in 4 years I could hear birds chirping in the mornings and evenings. It is an incredibly quiet community, very close to a lot of stores and restaurants, and the maintenance team will handle any issues you have quickly and with kindness! I hope to be a resident here for a while!

A newsletter is wonderful! Now if we could just get maintenance requests filled within a week instead of being on week three with no help.

I've been living here for a little under 2 months now, and my feelings are not great for this apartment. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment, and the actual apartment is not bad, it's alright. However, we have had to deal with countless issues since we have moved in. Our apartment was not very clean when we moved in, the garage reeked of cigarette smoke, a smell that transferred into our entire house. Half of our keys/garage openers we didn't get right away and they didn't work; and although we live in a 3 bedroom apartment, the parking spot in front of our FRONT DOOR is not guaranteed to us. Thus, only guaranteeing us 2 parking spots because we have a garage. We have fought daily to try and park in front of our apartment and have not been able to almost daily. The pool has been nice, it's a decent size, but extremely cold. However, any maintenance request we have placed seems to disappear into a void or be claimed as "completed" when nothing has been fixed. The girls who work at the office are very nice, and have tried to fix any issues that have come up, but I feel as though there shouldn't be so many issues occurring. Our rent is cheaper than most other locations we have looked at, but we are definitely getting frustrated.

I moved to the Pines 2.5 years ago. It's a beautiful community. The rooms are nice with tall ceilings and latest amenities. The road network and maintenance is good. Community has the ample amount of area between each building which gives lot of space for walking and hanging around. The community has a beautiful pond and open area for the kids. The society has grilling stations available to grill food outside. It has good pool to relax during summer. Maintenance and leasing staff are helpful and quick in their response. I would say over past 2.5 years I didn't face any issue with this community. Wonderful community to stay on!

I moved to pines 2 years ago and I have been loving this place, especially when manar started working at the leasing office. I mean she took over everything. Whenever she picks up the phone I knew she will come through, bless her heart. She even calls to follow up if my issue was take care of. I mean only a good person does that.
Eric is the maintenance person that always was there when something needs taken care of. I was expecting my third baby and the AC wasn’t working, he came to my apartment after hours and temporarily fixed the problem. He has a big heart God bless him.
These two are a force to be recon with, without them I don’t know what I’ll do.

Worst place ever leasing office especially Brooke has no manners. Don’t ever come to lease at this place. No professionalism, maintenance is terrible only 3 guys for the whole complex. Not worth a penny you paying. No wonder people are moving out and the “TOUR TODAY” board is up!
