The Quarry Golf Club & Venue, Canton OH

We have been there several times for dinner and get togethers. The food is fantastic, and the service that we receive from Lizzy has been phenomenal! Doug, the manager always makes his rounds to greet us! As for Lizzy and Doug, both of them are definitely five star when it comes to taking care of their customers! Thanks for making our experience so enjoyable.

Great course fantastic bar with superb food at a more than fair price if you have never played the quarry its a must play. The bar patio overlooking the 18 th is again excellent

Played here this past Saturday, 10/15 tee time 10: 50am. Course was in really good shape and a beautiful layout. That's the only reason for 2 starts. The front 9 took 3 hours to play and we left after the 15th hole.and we were already at 5 hours. It was going to be a 6 hour round. I mentioned to one of the staff members at the bag drop area that the course is great, but they needed to change how they manage the pace of play. It's unbearable to wait 10-15 on every shot. 30-40 minutes to play a hole. His response, "Well, what do you want us to do? They paid and they can play at their own pace. " No this is not acceptable, nor does this management team own up to managing the field and pace of play. Did not see one person from the staff on the course, helping slow foursomes pick up the pace. Probably never playing here again due to the unbearable slow play and management not owning up to it and worse of all, not doing something about it when they know it's an issue.

We rented out a room for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was amazing. The hall was very clean and set up beautifully. The food was absolutely delicious in every bite! The staff give the finest service and are very helpful! The owners and staff not only made the event very special but worked tirelessly to make our event the best! I recommend the establishment to anyone and will be eating at the restaurant again!

This course is very difficult but very scoreable with the elevations. Played slow bc a huge group ahead of us. Call a month ahead

Challenging course. Weather made it tough the last 9 holes. Rain and chilly. The golf cart was acting up telling us we were in restricted area about 4 times. We were on the cart path. Go figure. Grabbed meal after wards. The service was very good along with the food.

Beautiful clubhouse. Course is very scenic. Tee boxes are really beat up. Greens are very slow. Drove two hours to play this course not worth the drive….

Only small issue I had was that the menu can be a little hard to navigate if you are here for the first time. Beyond this service was great and the food was absolutely amazing. I will say depending on the dishes you get you can expect 15-30 dollars a person for the meal with fountain drinks but alcohol could very much change the price per person. I had ordered the 11 (or close to, made this review a week after) ounce steak and it was definately the best or tied for the best steak I have ever had.

Today was my first time went for dinner our waitress was Bella she was great love the food highly recommend the patio will definitely be back

Nice course with nice layout. Tricky knowing where to hit it with alot of blind shots off the tee. Greens were a bit of a tough read for me and seems like they have problems with players not fixing their divots. Played on a 90 degree day and course seemed overly wet in a lot of areas, not sure if they were over-watering trying to protect it or it stays wet and soft. Doorbell chime on the GPS golf carts are annoying and even did it in the middle of my swing once so hopefully they improve on that and players respect the fame and course a bit better and fix their ball marks.

This was easily one of the best kept courses in Ohio. Really disappointed how it seemed completely let go. Tee boxes were what you would expect for a $9 par 3 course. Greens were slow, bumpy, and scalped on numerous occasions. Really just sad to see. Was really looking forward to playing here today.

One of my favorite golf courses in Ohio. Tough layout, lots of hills, lots of water, great carts, and staff is great. Will keep making the hour+ drive to come back! Great bloody marys.

Wonderful course, 1st time visiting. I will say the cart attendant when we got there this morning was amazing. Took bag from car and placed on cart for us and was very helpful. Unfortunately after 18 holes it was no longer the same nice gentleman when we finished 2 young kids saw our group coming in and hid in the cart shack. You can not take the carts to your car here so we had to carry our clubs back to our cars through the rather large parking lot after a long hot round of 18 holes. Sad the work ethic of some compared to others. Otherwise would have given this place 5 stars.

I find it ridiculous that there was no mention of a dress code when on the call for a tee time but when we show up there is suddenly a strict dress policy and we are turned away from playing. There are a heap ton of other PUBLIC courses that do not require a dress code that are much much nicer than this one. Even if you do have a dress code, the least you can do is inform the players before they arrive so they don’t waste their time. Will not be recommending to anyone for the lack of customer service.

Took our annual golf trip to Canton this past weekend. 28 of us go every year. This year, everyone was so excited to start our trip at The Quarry! Long considered a great course, however, it was a big disappointment! The tee boxes were horrible, the sand traps had weeds growing in them, and the overall condition of the course was poor.
