If I could give this place zero stars I would I was a agency person who picked up here, for a 8 hour shift the older lady who was the nurse here was extremely mean to me and to the point of abusive, she over worked me, and the whole day keep looking at me in a mean way
at the end of my shift I was still catching my breath…. No joke even when I had got home I was still catching my breath
I’ve never worked so hard in my entire life… in the begging of the week I went to the ER for panic attack and a few days after I worked at this faculty, all the nurse and aides told me I didn’t need to work so hard and they felt bad what this nurse was doing to me, im honestly at the point where I’m about to report this nurse for abusive behavior, other agnecy aides have told me she has treated them the same as well. I really wish I remember her name Becasuse I would expose her, if your a agency aide please speak up and don’t let this nurse treat you in this way, after that shift I never picked up another shift to work at this facility

Beautiful campus so I was pleased with our decision to have my mom be admitted to the skilled care unit. Unfortunately there was a lack of communication between the managers and the staff. My mom had end of life congestive heart failure and kidney failure. The management team had a nice plan laid out for my mom's care but it was not communicated to the nurses (agency most likely). Because of their negligence, my mom was admitted to the hospital on mother's day. My mom was shaking so bad when the family came to visit her. Her blood sugar was over 600! They wanted to wait over an hour to see if her sugar level would go down. That is dangerous as she can go into diabetic shock. I told the nurse no way, she needs to go to the ER now! The diagnosis at the er was high potassium and she was septic. Just also want to mention that one nurse gave my mom a banana the night before for her night snack. My mom had kidney failure.who would give a kidney failure patient a banana? !

Also, the one stna didn't want to do her job so she let my aunt and cousin bathe my mom. Another complaint is they had my mom in the hotest room. She's on oxygen and had a hard time breathing in there due to lack of air flow. I had to buy a fan to help!

Absolutely disappointed in their staff on the skilled unit.

There's always a teaching moment for me to learn and the staff are very genuine, thank you.

Working here was an hell whole they don’t give you the opportunity for growth equally, the whole experience was disappointing.wouldn’t recommend for employment plus they pick and choose who to give bonuses to when picking up shift!

Was here on a Saturday at 4 o'clock and the building was well staffed and spotless. The person at the front desk was wonderful and welcoming. Can't say enough good things about the staff and even the security, which at most places is lacking at best.

It apparent that leadership runs a great facility. Keep up the great work!

I enjoy the walking trails, Independent Living options for activities and the great food and flexibility of the meal plan. The Fitness/Aquatic Center are clean and offer group or individual activities. Many of the residents are longtime Westsiders but not cliquish.
