There’s free prepackaged uncooked food out every morning at 9: 30am or 10: 00am or later (whenever the truck arrives). It’s a lot of bread and canned goods, sometimes produce, that has dents or is near expiration.

Then there’s the once-a-month box where you get to choose from refrigerated and frozen goods - there’s good stuff if you get there early and are the first people to sign in. They also give you a large cardboard box full of canned and dry goods, but it’s off brands and it’s hard to give the stuff away to family; never anything in there I want to eat.

Get there an hour early; be prepared to sit for a long time in the lobby and wait it out next to people from all walks of life, all personalities, all states of mental wellness and physical wellness. Be kind and give up your seat and stand if you can. They serve everybody. Loving, accepting, and they don’t judge. Don’t take what you don’t need because there’s somebody there who needs the limited supply more than you do. Not sure what happens to people who are home bound or too weak or sick to come in person and wait long periods. Had to go here once or twice during a hard week. Also donated surplus goods a few times when I’ve moved. Glad they’re around.

In time of need they really came through for us with food. We just needed that little nudge.

I'm giving this place a review based on a girl named Sharita that assisted me during my visit. She was so kind, caring, compassionate and made my visit less awkward because I usually don't visit food pantries. I really appreciate you Sharita and thank you Salvation Army for the groceries!

I go here to get food all the time the last time I went it was rocky because people hovered over the front lobby food rack and pushing others out the way like wild animals so I was not able to get anything off of it there were people that took more than what they were supposed to making it impossible for me to get something for my kids if the staff could tell people to not take more than their supposed to like not take several of the same items than it would be enough for more than one person that would be great but other than that they normally give out really good food their frozen kfc chicken is really good

Very kind hearted staff who helped with things for family as well as resources that will help. Very thankful for them.
