The Shorewood Apartments, Cleveland OH

Shorewood is basically a meth and crack house don’t waste your time. There’s no property manager here. Lobby always smells like pee. Elevators stop working. People constantly smoking meth or crack at night.

Absolute nightmare of a dump. The place is disgusting and literally falling apart around you. Was a giant hole in the lobby about 15 feet wide, 15 feet deep into the dirt that they dug for some reason for months. They finally laid rickety plywood over it. The smells are stomach turning, smells like someone died, always. Simone was stealing rent checks and packages were stolen. Broken elevators you're afraid you'll get stuck on. People setting fires inside building. Fire alarm going off several times a week for no reason. Parties every night right outside your door. Creepy homeless mentally ill teen squatting in stairwell, using the bathroom all over inside stairs, stalking you. Trash and garbage everywhere. Elevator usually had spilled alcohol or urine in it. The renovations that were happening were ridiculous, people throwing large appliances out of windows from 7th floor. Couldn't adjust the radiator heat in the winter, we had to leave windows open in snowstorms to keep from burning to death, and even then that didn't help. Maintenance entering your unit with no notice and for no real reason. Water shut off for days at a time regularly. I could go on.

Worst place I ever stayed in was my very first apartment! The manger symone stole all my money orders from the day I moved in so it doesn’t look like I paid my rent at all she kept changing my move in date. Never answered the phone & when she did she hung up on you bathroom ceiling was leaking never got fixed I can go on & on about this place do not recommend & it be a lot of shooting at the gas station next door
